പെരുമ്പാവൂര്‍ പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ സെഷന്‍സ് കോടിതിയാണ് വിധി പ്രസ്താവിച്ചത്.വിചാരണക്കാലത്തൊരു സമയത്തും പ്രതിക്ക് പശ്ചാത്താപമോ മാറ്റമോ ഉണ്ടായില്ലെന്നും കോടതി നിരീക്ഷിച്ചു.ശിക്ഷ ഇളവ് നേടിയാല്‍ സമൂഹത്തിന് ദോഷം ചെയ്യുമെന്ന പ്രോസിക്യൂഷന്‍ വാദം കോടതി അംഗീകരിച്ചു.അപൂര്‍വ്വങ്ങളില്‍ അപൂര്‍വ്വമെന്ന പരിഗണനയും കേസിന് ലഭിച്ചു.
കേന്ദ്ര ഏജന്‌സി അന്വേഷണമടക്കം തുടരന്വേഷണം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടുള്ള പ്രതിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ ഹര്‍ജി കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം കോടതി തള്ളിയിരുന്നു.IPC 302 വകുപ്പ് പ്രകാരമാണ് പ്രതിക്ക് വധശിക്ഷ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്.മറ്റ് കുറ്റങ്ങളിലായി 10 വര്‍ഷം 7 വര്‍ഷം തടവും കൂടാതെ 5 ലക്ഷം രൂപ പിഴയും കോടതി വിധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്‌.33 തവണ കുത്തേറ്റതിന്റെ പാട് ജിഷയുടെ ശരീരത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു പ്രതി സഹതാപം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ലെന്നും കോടതി നിരീക്ഷിച്ചു

ജിഷയുടെ കൈനഖങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ നിന്നും ചുരിദ്ദാറില്‍ നിന്ന് കിട്ടിയ പ്രതിയുടെ ഡിഎന്‍എ.
