नजीबाबाद क्षेत्र में ट्यूशन पढ़कर घर लौट रहे आईटीआई समीपुर के एक छात्र को बाईक सवार युवकों ने गोली मार दी। गोली लगने से गंभीर अवस्था में घायल छात्र को प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद जिला अस्पताल रेफर किया गया।
जानकारी के अनुसार गांव नंगला पिथैरा निवासी 20 वर्षीय राजीव कुमार आईटीआई का छात्र है जो नजीबाबाद से ट्यूशन पढ़कर अपने साथियों के साथ गांव जाने के लिए मैजिक वाहन पर सवार हुआ था। राजीव अपने साथियों के साथ मैजिक वाहन के पीछे खड़ा होकर सफर कर रहा था इसी दौरान पीछे से बुलेट बाईक पर सवार युवकों ने राजीव को गोली मार दी। गोली चलते ही क्षेत्र में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। वही हमलावर मौके पर ही बुलेट छोड़कर फरार हो गए। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी गजेन्द्र पाल सिंह, थााना प्रभारी दिनेश गौड़ पुलिस फोर्स के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे और हमलावरों की बाईक को अपने कब्ज़े में ले लिया। पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी ने बताया कि हमलावरों को चिन्हित करने के लिए टीम लगाई गई है और घायल युवक के साथियों से भी पूछताछ की जा रही है। हमलावरों की पहचान कर जल्द गिरफ्तार किया जायेगा। वहीं गोली लगने से घायल छात्र की स्थिति को गंभीर देखते हुए जिला अस्पताल से मेरठ के लिए रेफर किया गया।

नजीबाबाद तहसील क्षेत्र के नगर पंचायत जलालाबाद में बेखौफ चोर ने दिनदहाड़े घर में घुसकर चोरी की घटना को अंजाम दिया। चोरी की घटना सी.सी.टी.वी. कैमरे में कैद हो गई। जानकारी के अनुसार जलालाबाद के मौहल्ला पासबान में एक चोर ने चोरी करने से पहले 2 बार रेकी की और फिर घर के अंदर घुसा तथा दो माीने थैले में डालकर फरार हो गया। जिस घर से चोर ने चोरी की है उस घर में कारपेन्टर का काम चल रहा था और कारपेन्टर थोड़ी देर के लिए कोई सामान लेने गया था। मौके का फायदा उठाकर पहले से तालाश में बैठे चोर ने कारपेन्टर की दो मशीनों पर हाथ साफ कर दिया। कारपेन्टर के अनुसार चोरी हुई मशीनों की कीम 8 से 10 हज़ार रूप्ये बताई जा रही है।

धामपुर की राजपूत विहार कालोनी में अपाची बाईक पर सवार दो युवक महिला के गले से चैन खींचकर फरार हो गये। दिनदहाड़े हुई इस चैन स्नेचिंग की घटना से क्षेत्र में हड़कम्प मच गया।
दरअसल राजपूत विहार कालोनी की एक गली से गुज़रते समय दिवेश चैधरी नामक एक महिला के गले से बाईक सवार युवकों ने सोने की चैन खींच ली और फरार हो गये। घटना का पूरा प्रकरण सी.सी.टी.वी. कैमरे में कैद हो गया। घटना के बाद स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा पुलिस को सूचना दी गई। मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने घटनास्थल के आस-पास लगे सी.सी.टी.वी. कैमरों की फुटेज के आधार पर जांच पड़ताल और आरोपियों की तालाश शुरू कर दी है।
