കണ്ണൂര്‍ രാജ്യാന്തര വിമാനത്താവളത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ടിക്കറ്റ് ബുക്കിങ് ഈ മാസം 9നു ആരംഭിക്കുമെന്ന്എയർ ഇന്ത്യ എക്സ്പ്രസ് അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു. സമയക്രമം ഡിജിസിഎയ്ക്കു നേരത്തേ സമർപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഉദ്ഘാടന ദിവസമായ ഡിസംബർ 9ന് യാത്രക്കാരുമായുള്ള ആദ്യ വിമാനം പറത്തുന്നത് എയർ ഇന്ത്യ എക്സ്പ്രസ് ആണ്. അബുദാബിയിലേക്കാണ് ആദ്യ സർവീസ്.
അന്ന് രാവിലെ 11നു കണ്ണൂരിൽ നിന്നു ടേക്ക് ഓഫ് ചെയ്യുന്ന തരത്തിലാണ് സർവീസ് ക്രമീകരച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ഇതിനായി എയർഇന്ത്യ എക്സ്പ്രസിന്റെ ബോയിങ് 737–800 വിമാനം കണ്ണൂരിലെത്തിക്കും. യുഎഇ സമയം ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 1.30ന് വിമാനം അബുദാബിയിലെത്തും. അന്നുതന്നെ അബുദാബിയിൽ നിന്നു തിരിച്ച് കണ്ണൂരിലേക്കും സർവീസുണ്ടാവും. യുഎഇ സമയം ഉച്ചയ്ക്കു 2.30നു പുറപ്പെട്ട് രാത്രി 8നു കണ്ണൂരിലെത്തുന്ന തരത്തിലായിരിക്കും ഈ സർവീസ്. ദുബായിലേക്കും ഷാർജയിലേക്കും പ്രതിദിന സർവീസുകളും എയർ ഇന്ത്യ എക്സ്പ്രസ് നടത്തും. അബുദാബിയിലേക്ക് ആഴ്ചയിൽ 4 സർവീസുകളാണ് നടത്താൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്. മസ്കത്തിലേക്ക് ആഴ്ചയിൽ 3 ർവീസുകളുണ്ടാകും. ദോഹയിലേക്ക് ആഴ്ചയിൽ 4 സർവീസുകളും റിയാദിലേക്കു 3 സർവീസുകളുമാണ് കണ്ണൂരിൽ നിന്നുണ്ടാവുക. കണ്ണൂരില്‍ നിന്നും പറന്നുയരുന്ന ആദ്യ വിമാനത്തിലെ യാത്രക്കാരാകാനുള്ള സുവര്‍ണ്ണ അവസരമാണിത്.

ഡിസംബർ 9 ന് രാജ്യത്തിന് സമർപ്പിക്കുന്ന കണ്ണൂർ രാജ്യാന്തര വിമാനത്താവള ഉദ്ഘാടനത്തിനു ലുലു ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ചെയർമാൻ എം.എ.യൂസഫലി എത്തുന്നത് സ്വന്തം വിമാനത്തിൽ. ഇതോടെ കണ്ണൂരിലെത്തുന്ന ആദ്യ ആഡംബര വിമാനം യൂസഫലിയുടേതാകും. ഡിസംബർ 8നാണ് യൂസഫലി വിമാനത്താവളത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങുക. രണ്ടു വർഷം മുമ്പ് സ്വന്തമാക്കിയ ഗൾഫ് സ്ട്രീം 550 വിമാനത്തിലാണ് യൂസഫലി എത്തുക. ഏകദേശം 360 കോടി രൂപയാണ് വിമാനത്തിന്റെ വില. 13 യാത്രക്കാരെ വഹിക്കാനാവുന്ന 150 കോടി രൂപയുടെ ലെഗസി 650 ഉം യൂസഫിലിക്ക് സ്വന്തമായുണ്ട്. അമേരിക്കയിലെ വെർജീനിയ ആസ്ഥാനമായുള്ള ജനറൽ ഡൈനാമികസിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള ഗള്‍ഫ് സ്ട്രീം എയ്റോസ്പെയ്സാണ് വിമാനത്തിന്റെ നിർമാതാക്കൾ. 14 മുതൽ 19 യാത്രക്കാർക്കാണ് ഗൾഫ് സ്ട്രീം 550 സഞ്ചരിക്കാനാവുക. 12,501 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ പരമാവധി റേഞ്ചുള്ള വിമാന പരമാവധി വേഗത മണിക്കൂറിൽ 488 നോട്ടാണ് (ഏകദേശം 900 കീമി). 12 മണിക്കൂർ വരെ വിമാനത്തിന് നിർത്താതെ സഞ്ചരിക്കാനാവുമെന്നാണ് കമ്പനി അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നത്.

സ്വകാര്യ ഭൂമി കയ്യേറി റൺവേ നിർമിച്ച കണ്ണൂർ വിമാനത്താവളത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം തടയണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് എടയന്നൂർ സ്വദേശിനി കോടതിയിലേക്ക്.ഒരേക്കർ ഭൂമിയുടെ രേഖയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഏൺപതേകാൽ സെന്റ് ഭൂമിയുടെ നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം മാത്രമാണ് കിയാൽ അധികൃതർ ഭൂടമയായ കെ.മുംതാസിന് നൽകിയത്. 1999ലാണ് മംതാസിന്റെ ഭൂമി റവന്യൂ വകുപ്പ് ഏറ്റെടുത്തത്. പത്തൊൻപതേ മുക്കാൽ സെന്റ് ഭൂമി എറ്റെടുക്കാതെ ആധാരം മടക്കി നൽകി. പിന്നീട് ഇവിടേക്ക് മുംതാസിന് കയറാൻ സാധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. രണ്ടാംഘട്ടത്തിൽ ഏറ്റെടുക്കുമെന്ന് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ അറിയിച്ചെങ്കിലും നടപ്പായില്ല. ഇതോടെ കോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ച് 2013ൽ അനുകൂല വിധി നേടി. ഭൂമിമാത്രം ഏറ്റെടുത്തില്ല. അടുത്തദിവസം വീണ്ടും കോടതിയെ സമീപിക്കാനാണ് കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ തീരുമാനം. റവന്യൂവകുപ്പാണ് ഭൂമി ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് തന്നതെന്നാണ് കിയാലിന്റെ വിശദീകരണം. പരാതികൾ ഉയർന്നതോടെ റവന്യൂവകുപ്പ് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചു.
