An inquest into the death of Peaches Geldof has revealed that there were 'recent traces' of heroin in her body, when it was found at her home in Kent. Police confirmed that the drug was 'likely' to have contributed to the 25-year-old mother's death. This comes after an inquest was opened and adjourned today. Peaches' body was found by her husband Tom Cohen on April 7 at the family's home. Police said they found no drug paraphernalia near her body when it was discovered, leading to speculation it could have been removed. The whereabouts of items used when smoking or injecting heroin is likely to be a focus of the on-going investigation. Just hours before she died, Peaches posted a picture on Twitter of her as a child with her mother. The results come as a tragic parallel to the death of Paula Yates, who died of a Heroin overdose in 2000, when Peaches was just ten. Peaches had previously spoken of never getting over her mother's death. A full inquest into the death of the model, TV presenter and journalist has now been adjourned until July 23rd.
