The Dutch made a blistering start and scored from their first penalty corner in the 4th minute with Carlien Dirkse van den Heuvel getting the deflection in front of goal in her 100th game for her nation. The Dutch team continued their dominance in the second half and went 4-0 up in the 39th minute with Ellen Hoog getting on the score sheet. Two minutes later, Kelly Jonker completed her hat-trick to increase the score to 5-0. Maartje Paumen netted her second of the game from a penalty stroke with ten minutes remaining. Japan pulled one goal back through Akane Shibata, but it was only a consolation as Netherlands closed out the match to record an emphatic 6-1 win.

Netherlands kept on the pressure and finally got there reward when Netherlands took the lead when a long ball in by Mink van der Weerden and Valentin Verga touched the ball in the net. Before the break Argentina did not give up and were awarded a Penalty Corner and Gonzalo Pellat was on hand to drag flick the shot into the net, it 1-1 at the break.
The 2nd half, and Netherlands came out as the stronger team and grabbed the next goal of the game when the converted a Penalty Corner into the net and it Mink van der Weerden who executed shot, putting the Netherlands back in the driving seat. Netherlands kept there positive momentum and added another to their lead when Rolger Hofman shot, this time, sailed into the net, 3-1 Netherlands. The Netherlands nearly grabbed a 4th when a Penalty Corner, shot by Mark van der Weerden, sailed into the net but after a video referral was deemed too high and dangerous and the goal was not given. Argentina had one last chance when Gonzalo Pellat was awarded another Penalty Corner, but Japp Stockman produced a fantastic save, and Netherlands managed to hold their lead and grab the win ending 3-1 to The Netherlands.

The Dutch made another fantastic start in the second half and Roos Drost raced clear into the D but her shot was saved easily. It didn't take long for the next goal as Maartje Paumen struck home a penalty stroke in the 44th minute to take the score to 3-0. The Netherlands were running rampant and Roos Drost finally got her goal to make it 4-0 five minutes later. Belgium came close to a consolation goal through Charlotte De Vos, but the Dutch girls comfortably saw out the rest of the game and recorded their second win of the tournament.
