'Day 4 of the Men's Hero Hockey World League Final in New Delhi, India, were we see England take on Belgium in the first of the Quarter-Finals.

England, who have won all three games so far were looking to keep up there good from heading into the game. The game started off with Belgium having the first chance but George Pinner's double save kept the scores levelled. It was Belgium again on the attack when Lock Luypaert shot from outside the D was flicked on by Florent van Aubel but Pinner was on hand again to deflect the ball away from England's goal.

However England were the closes to taking the lead when Tom Carson pass into the D was met by Simon Mantell who should have scored but his shot went wide. Lock Luypaert came close with a Penalty corner but was well defended well by England. However both teams were unable to capitalise with their chances and at the break it was still 0-0.

The second half started off with a bit more pace and saw England break the deadlock when they were awarded a Penalty Corner and Tom Carson, his 3rd of the tournament, slotted his drag flick the ball into the right hand side of the net.

Belgium came close to levelling the scored Tom Boon was met with the ball inside the D and unleashed a fierce shot but was blocked by Iain Leweers, who kept his side ahead. However at the final whistle Belgium were unlucky not to level the scores and England managed to hold on in a .
