Minister for Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (FCA&PD), Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali said that there is no shortage of essential commodities as of now anywhere in the state.
While inspecting Government Food Store at Udhampur, the Minister said that there is an adequate stock of essential commodities available in all the areas of the state and is being disbursed among the people. He said that they have directed officers to ensure timely disbursal of food grains and to ensure proper monitoring so that there is no pilferage.
The minister said besides the food grains, there is adequate stock of the LPG and petrol in both the divisions and the distribution is being reviewed frequently..
