Halloween Witch - Happy Halloween Google Doodle 2013 Video.

In celebration of this year’s Halloween, the Google Doodle team created a homepage image of a spooky street lined with jack-o-lanterns, autumn leaves, a crow and a tiny black cat. The image has eerie wind and screeching cat sound effects to match.

The street features five doors that you can click on to reveal the monster inside: An octopus slithers to the front door, a ghost pops up from the ground and a pair of creepy eyes follow your cursor around as you move it across the screen, to name a few.
But it gets better. If you type classic horror movies into the Google search bar — The Shining, Psycho, The Exorcist, Nightmare on Elm Street — and even a few more contemporary horror films — The Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity — three bats appear hanging from the upper right hand corner. Move your cursor over them, and they fly across your screen.halloween witch makeup kids

But this only works for a select number of horror films. Certain movies that seem like shoe-ins — Night of the Living Dead, The Haunting and Bride of Frankenstein — are surprisingly bat-less.make halloween witch costumes.halloween witch costumes uk

So here comes the challenge: Type horror movies that come to mind into the Google search bar and see if you can find the hidden bats. Remember, it’s a lot trickier than it sounds.
Oh, and one more thing, happy Halloween!

Halloween Witch gets you playing with an interactive Google doodle

Halloween is celebrated every year on October 31 in a number of countries around the world. And like last year, Google is celebrating the event with an interactive doodle. The doodle on the Google homepage features a witch flipping through the pages of a book which seems to include information about witchcraft. As you press the play button, the witch appears and starts practising witchery. In this doodle, there are four different items, including an apple, bone, bottle and skull, available to the witch for performing witchery. The witch needs two items to do witchery and cast an evil spell. She lets you choose those items and produce spooky results. To add to the atmosphere there is also an eerie sound playing in the background.

Halloween is also called All Hallows' Eve. As it falls on the eve of All Saints' Day, it has a religious significance for some Christians otherwise it is nowadays observed largely as a secular celebration.

A clattering skeleton is the 'L' and a smiley face that turns into a monster represents the 'E'. An apparition also appears between the skeleton and the smiley monster.
There is also a black alley cat, a crowing crow and a spider for extra effect. A number of jack-o'-lanterns rest on the steps of the mansion. It is only when you click on all the interactive elements on the Happy Halloween! Google doodle and the alley cat jumps out of the frame that the page redirects to the search results page for the keyword 'Happy Halloween!'.

Mother's Day 2013 Interactive Google Doodle Lets You Craft 27 Cards

Ever wanted to craft art on Google's homepage? Today is your lucky day – if, for some reason, your mother really likes Google's logo.

Google celebrates Mother's Day 2013 with an extravagant interactive Google Doodle that lets you craft, print, and share a total of 27 different logos, and then add one of three different borders, thanks to a card-building machine.
Once you press the play button, Google's card building machine comes to life, letting you 'draw' Mom or flowers, or create a special 'hand-made' gift.

Further steps will let you decide whether your mom appears as a bird, stick figure, or bear, for instance (Google's Android mascot checks in with an appearance as a mother and child in one of the cards). Other options include making your craft appear as if it were drawn with crayons or markers, or using materials such as pasta, string, construction paper, buttons, or beans.

Finally, you'll pick a frame for your click-made Google Doodle.

After you're done with your first creation, you can start over 26 more times to see all the combinations yourself (or you can just see them all compiled below). Google also gives you the option to print your artistic masterpiece or share it by giving you a customized short URL.

    Hermann Rorschach - Interactive Inkblots - Google Doodle - 08 Nov 2013

    Hermann Rorschach's inkblot Doodle
On 8th November, Google celebrates the Birthday of Hermann Rorschach with a nice interactive inkblots Doodle.
Hermann Rorschach was a Swiss Freudian psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, best known for developing a projective test known as the Rorschach inkblot test. This test was reportedly designed to reflect unconscious parts of the personality that project onto the stimuli. In the test, individuals are shown 10 inkblots and asked to report what objects or figures they see in each of them.
Rorschach was born in Zürich and spent his childhood and youth in Schaffhausen, in northern Switzerland. He became known to his high school friends as Klecks, or inkblot since, like many other young people in his native country, he enjoyed klecksography, the making of fanciful inkblot pictures. Unlike his classmates, however, Rorschach would go on to make inkblots his life's work.

The Doodle Shows some inkblots, what have you seen?
