In celebration of this year’s Halloween, the Google Doodle team created a homepage image of a spooky street lined with jack-o-lanterns, autumn leaves, a crow and a tiny black cat. The image has eerie wind and screeching cat sound effects to match.
The street features five doors that you can click on to reveal the monster inside: An octopus slithers to the front door, a ghost pops up from the ground and a pair of creepy eyes follow your cursor around as you move it across the screen, to name a few.

Those of you who remember the pain and frustration of Konami's 1983 hit NES game Track and Field may want to stay off Google tomorrow (today?), as an interactive Olympic-themed Google doodle lets you 'race' the 110m hurdles.
It's a classic finger-mashing game of athleticism, a challenge the equal of the actual Olympics (if the Olympics required the bare minimum of hand fitness). Google has been running special Olympic doodles throughout the Games, but this is the first interactive one.

Google celebrates Mother's Day 2013 with an extravagant interactive Google Doodle that lets you craft, print, and share a total of 27 different logos, and then add one of three different borders, thanks to a card-building machine.
Once you press the play button, Google's card building machine comes to life, letting you 'draw' Mom or flowers, or create a special 'hand-made' gift.
Further steps will let you decide whether your mom appears as a bird, stick figure, or bear, for instance (Google's Android mascot checks in with an appearance as a mother and child in one of the cards). Other options include making your craft appear as if it were drawn with crayons or markers, or using materials such as pasta, string, construction paper, buttons, or beans.

Google is celebrating its 15th birthday with an interactive Google doodle that features a piñata game.
A piñata is a fancy container that is filled with sweets and goodies which is later broken as part of a celebration. Piñatas are popular in Mexico. Friday's Google doodle features a piñata that sports the colours of the Google logo. The alphabets in the Google logo are part of the celebration and the blindfolded, second 'G' alphabet holds a stick with which users have to hit the piñata when it comes close, to try and extract the maximum number of sweets that fall with each hit, in ten limited chances. Users can play with the Space bar key of their keyboards or even with the computer mouse. They can even share the score on Google+.
Last year, Google's 14th birthday was marked with a doodle that featured a cake with 14 candles. The cake transformed into a Google logo, as each candles was blown out.

Hermann Rorschach was a Swiss Freudian psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, best known for developing a projective test known as the Rorschach inkblot test. This test was reportedly designed to reflect unconscious parts of the personality that project onto the stimuli. In the test, individuals are shown 10 inkblots and asked to report what objects or figures they see in each of them.
Rorschach was born in Zürich and spent his childhood and youth in Schaffhausen, in northern Switzerland. He became known to his high school friends as Klecks, or inkblot since, like many other young people in his native country, he enjoyed klecksography, the making of fanciful inkblot pictures.
