The Supreme Court Collegium headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, on January 10 recommended the elevation of Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, and Justice Sanjiv Khanna of the Delhi High Court to the top court.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट कॉलेजियम और केंद्र सरकार के बीच तकरार बढ़ता ही जा रहा है। कॉलेजियम के मसले पर केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट को एक चिट्ठी लिख कर कहा था कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट और हाई कोर्ट के कॉलेजियम में केंद्र सरकार के प्रतिनिधियों को भी शामिल किया जाए। अभी कॉलेजियम का मसला हल ही नहीं हुआ था कि एक और समस्या सुप्रीम कोर्ट के सामने आ खड़ी हुई है। ये ऐसा मसला है जो आज तक कभी नहीं पनपा था। बता दें इस बार सुप्रीम कोर्ट दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट में एक गे वकील यानी समलैंगिक एडवोकेट को जज नियुक्त करने पर अड़ा हुआ है और केंद्र सरकार इसका विरोध कर रही है।

Association for Social Health in India (ASHI) is a Voluntary and Social Organization aiming at challenging those conditions that lead to exploitation of women and children for anti-social purposes by providing shelter for Destitute & Orphan children and arranging for their education, vocational training and rehabilitation are one of the Association’s main activities.
