Kelly Ripa hosted the TV Land Awards 2012 on Sunday night, helping to honor some of the most classic and memorable TV shows and casts television has ever seen. But Kelly managed to cut loose on the awards show, too, as she danced and dropped it low with the 'In Living Color' Fly Girls.
'In Living Color' was honored at the TV Land Awards with the Groundbreaking Award. Virtually everyone from the original cast, including Jim Carrey, hit the stage to give a speech. Whoopi Goldberg presented the cast with the award.
And that included the Fly Girls, too.

Back in 2007, Kelly Ripa went through an unpleasant incident while hosting the TV Land Awards. The organizers of the event asked the actress to make an unusual entrance on stage as the 'Flying Nun' given that this was one of the shows that was awarded that year. For that, Ripa had to be rigged up in a harness, but she made the mistake of looking down during her flight and she almost slipped from the harness.

Ripa, who hosted the event, kicked off the ceremony with a segment during which she did 13 costume changes - all channeling TV characters and stars through the years, including Lucille Ball, Elvira, Zoey Deschanel in 'New Girl' and the Sue Sylvester character on 'Glee.'
Ripa said the Wonder Woman costume was 'too flashy,' then joked, 'But let me wear this home for Mark Consuelos' (her husband).
Stylist and fashion guru Carson Kressley helped Ripa find the best look for her grand entrance through the ceiling.
Her choice? A Catwoman costume.
'Too sexy,' she said. 'It's perfect.'
The ceremony honored the casts of 'Laverne & Shirley,' 'Murphy Brown,' 'In Living Color,' 'One Day At a Time' and 'Pee-wee's Playhouse.'
