ജീവിക്കാനും സ്വകാര്യതയ്ക്കും തുല്യതയ്ക്കുമുള്ള അവകാശങ്ങളില്‍ ലൈംഗികാഭിരുചിയേയും ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തുന്നതാണ് ചരിത്രവിധി. ഭരണഘടന വിഭാവനം ചെയ്യുന്ന തുല്യതയ്ക്കുളള അവകാശത്തെ ലംഘിക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു 377–ാം വകുപ്പ്. സ്വവര്‍ഗരതിയെ രാജ്യവും പൊതുസമൂഹവും അംഗീകരിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി ലൈംഗിക ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങള്‍ പൊരുതുവാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട ഒന്നര നൂറ്റാണ്ടായി.

ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് നിർമിതവും കൊളോണിയൽ കാലത്ത് പ്രാബല്യത്തിൽ വന്നതുമായ ഒരു നിയമം ആണ്. ഇത് പ്രകാരം ഗര്ഭധാരണത്തിന് വേണ്ടി അല്ലാതെയുള്ള ദമ്പതികളുടെ ലൈംഗികബന്ധം, ട്രാൻസ് ജൻഡറുകളുടെ ലൈംഗികത, സ്വവർഗ അനുരാഗം എന്നിവ കുറ്റകരമാണ് എന്ന് വിലയിരുത്തുന്നു. പത്തുവർഷംവരെ തടവും പിഴയും ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ശിക്ഷകൾ ഇത് പ്രകാരം വിധിക്കാൻ ഇത് പ്രകാരം കോടതിയ്ക്ക് കഴിയും. അതിനാൽ ലൈംഗിക ആസ്വാദന രീതികൾ വച്ചു പുലർത്തുന്ന ദമ്പതികൾ, ട്രാൻസ് ജെൻഡറുകൾ ഉൾപ്പടെയുള്ള ലൈംഗികന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങൾ എന്നിവർ ക്രിമിനൽ കുറ്റവാളികളായി ചിത്രീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ ഈ നിയമം രാധാക്കുന്നതോടെ ഇനി സമൂഹത്തില്‍ വിപ്ലബ്വകരമായ മാറ്റങ്ങള്‍ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാം

The decision by a bench headed by Chief Justice TS Thakur was immediately welcomed by gay rights activists across the country as it reopens the legal debate on homosexuality. The apex court clubbed together 8 curative petitions filed by gay rights activists and NGO Naz Foundation against the apex court's December 11, 2013 judgement upholding validity of section 377 (unnatural sexual offences) of IPC and the January 2014 order, by which it had dismissed a bunch of review petitions.

कुछ दिन पहले लहार नगर की पुरानी गल्ला मंडी में कुछ अपराधी प्रवत्ति के लोगो द्वारा लूट की घटना को अंजाम देने का प्रयास करते हुए फायरिंग की घटना को अंजाम दिया गया था जिस पर लहार विधायक अम्बरीष शर्मा गुड्डु भैया ने चिंता ब्यक्त करते हुए पुलिस अधीक्षक महोदय से मामला जल्द खोलने ओर लहार में ब्यापारियों को न्याय दिलाने की बात कही थी जिस पर पुलिस अधीक्षक महोय ने अपराधों एवं अपराधियों पर नियंत्रण करने के लिए पुलिस अधीक्षक भिण्ड डॉ असित यादव एवं अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक संजीव पाठक द्वारा जिला भिण्ड में हुई हत्या, लूट, चोरी की घटनाओं का खुलाशा करने हेतु जिलें में 04 विशेष टीम बनाई गई जो सायवर सेल के साथ मिलकर अपराधों का खुलाशा करने में लगी हुई थी उक्त विशेष टीमों द्वारा अपने-अपने स्तर पर मुखबिर तंत्र विकसित कर एवं तकनीकि स्तर पर कार्यवाही कर अन्तर्राज्जीय गिरोह का पर्दाफाश किया गया है हाल ही में थाना लहार में गोली मारकर की लूट थाना लहार क्षेत्र में दिनांक 25.06.2024 को सुनार व्यापारी फरियादी को गोली मारकर घायल कर सोने, चाँदी के आभूषण से भरे बैग को 03 अज्ञात आरोपियों द्वारा मोटरसायकिल से लूटने का प्रयास किया गया जिस पर से थाना लहार में अपराध 183/24 धारा 393,307,34 भादवि पंजीबद्ध कर विवेचना में लिया गया था उक्त घटना की गम्भीरता को देखते हुए पुलिस अधीक्षक भिण्ड घटना का निरीक्षण किया गया तथा अज्ञात आरोपी की गिर० हेतु निर्देश दिए गए इसी तारतम्य में अनुविभागीय अधिकारी पुलिस प्रवीण त्रिपाठी के मार्गदर्शन में थाना प्रभारी लहार निरीक्षक रविन्द्र शर्मा को मुखबिर द्वारा सूचना प्राप्त हुई कि हाल ही थाना लहार की घटना का आरोपी रावतपुरा सानी में अपने किसी साथी के यहाँ आया हुआ है उक्त सूचना पर से थाना प्रभारी लहार, थाना प्रभारी नयागांव, थाना प्रभारी बरोही एवं सायवर सेल टीम के साथ मिलकर उक्त आरोपी को गिर० किया गया आरोपी से घटना के सम्बन्ध में पूछताछ की गई तो आरोपी द्वारा घटना कारित करना स्वीकार किया गया तथा घटना में शामिल अपने अन्य 02 साथियों के नाम भी बताए गए पुलिस द्वारा घटना के दो आरोपियों को घटना में प्रयुक्त अपाची मोटर सायकिल के साथ बरामद कर गिर० किया गया तथा एक आरोपी साथी द्वारा फायर करने पर गोली लगने से घायल हो गया जो कि हॉस्पीटल

धार जिले उमरबन के ग्राम सावलाखेड़ी में मंदिर के अंदर बैठे तेंदुए ने मंदिर के पुजारी मदनलाल के ऊपर हमला कर दिया। पूजारी मंदिर के अंदर पूजा पाठ करने के लिए गए थे।
प्रतिदिन अनुसार पुजारी मंदिर पहुंचे, जहां पहले से तेंदुआ बैठा था, जैसे ही पुजारी मंदिर के दरवाजे के पास गया तो अंदर जाते ही पुजारी के ऊपर तेंदुए ने हमला कर दिया। पुजारी ने जोर जोर से आवाज़ लगाई जिससे आसपास के लोगों ने पुजारी की आवाज सुनी और भागते हुए मंदिर की ओर पहुंचे तो तेंदुआ पुजारी के ऊपर हमला कर रहा था। तेंदुए से ग्रामीणों ने पुजारी को छुड़ाकर तेंदुए को भगाने की कोशिश की पर तेंदुआ, मंदिर के अंदर वापस घुसा। जैसे-जैसे ग्रामीण लोगों को जानकारी मिलती रही तो 20 से 40 लोग मंदिर के पास चले गए और तेंदुए की नजर रखी, और ग्रामीणों ने वन विभाग को जानकारी दी, वन विभाग को जानकारी मिलते ही वन विभाग के अधिकारी सावला खेड़ी तुरंत पहुंचे। वही घायल पुजारी को उमरबन स्वास्थ्य केंद्र ले जाया गया जहां डॉक्टर ने गंभीर स्थिति होने की वजह से पुजारी को धार के जिला अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया। बताया जा रहा है, तेंदुआ मंदिर परिसर के अंदर है, जिसे वन विभाग द्वारा, रेस्क्यू करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है।
