ભાવનગરના રંઘોળા પાસે ભાવનગર-રાજકોટ હાઇવે પર જાન લઈને જતી એક ટ્રક નાળામાં ખાબકતા ઘટનાસ્થળે જ 26 જાનૈયાઓનું મૃત્યુ થયું હતું અને આ ઘટનામાં 35 લોકો ઈજાગ્રસ્ત પણ થયા હતા. આ અંગે સંવેદના વ્યક્ત કરતા BJP ગુજરાતના પ્રવક્તા ભરત પંડ્યાએ કહ્યું હતું કે, રંઘોળા ખાતે બનેલી દુર્ઘટના હૃદયદ્વાવક છે. જે કોળી પરીવારમાં ખુશીનો પ્રસંગ હતો. ત્યાં શોકનો માહોલ સર્જાયો છે. જે લગ્નની જાન મંગળ પ્રસંગે જઈ રહી હતી તેમાં અનેક જાનૈયાઓને પોતાના જીવ ગુમાવીને આ પ્રસંગ અમંગળમાં પરીણમ્યો છે.

വിശപ്പിനോളം വലിയ വേദനയുണ്ടോ? മനുഷ്യന് സ്വബോധം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുമ്പോഴും വിശപ്പിനെ മാത്രമല്ലേ തിരിച്ചറിയാന് പറ്റുന്നത്. ഒരു പിടി ചോറിന് വേണ്ടി ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ രക്തസാക്ഷിയാക്കാന് തക്കവിധം നമ്മളെന്താണിങ്ങനെ ക്രൂരരായിപ്പോയത്? എന്ന് ചിന്തിപ്പിച്ചു മധു എന്ന ആദിവാസി സമൂഹത്തിലെ മനുഷ്യൻ.
കാടിന്റെ മകനെ മോഷണമാരോപിച്ച് അവന്റെ ഇടത്ത് പോയി പിടികൂടി ക്രൂരമായി തല്ലിച്ചതച്ച് ഒടുവില് കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു. അവന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്ന് പിടിച്ചെടുത്തത് ഒരു കിലോ അരിയും അല്പം മുളകുപൊടിയും. അട്ടപ്പാടിയിലെ ആദിവാസിയായ ആ മനുഷ്യന്, മധു എന്ന 27കാരന് മനസിന് സുഖമില്ലാത്ത ഒരാള് കൂടിയായരുന്നു. ലോകത്തെ പേടിയുള്ള, മനുഷ്യരെ കണ്ടാല് ഭയന്ന് മാറി നടക്കുമായിരുന്നു ഒരാള്. എന്തിനാണ് ദൈവമിങ്ങനെ മനുഷ്യരെ വ്യത്യസ്ഥരാക്കി ഈ ഭൂമിയില് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത് എന്ന് മലയാളികൾ ചോദിച്ചു.

ജീവനുതുല്യം സ്നേഹിച്ചവനെ സ്വന്തം വീട്ടുകാർ മരണത്തിലേക്ക് പറഞ്ഞയച്ച് വിധി ക്രൂരത അതിരുകളില്ലാതെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയ ഇര.കെവിന്റെ ഭാര്യ.ദുരഭിമാനക്കൊലയ്ക്ക് ഇരയായി കെവിന് പി. ജോസഫ് മരിച്ചിട്ട് ഏഴുമാസം പൂര്ത്തിയായി.
മെയ് 27നായിരുന്നു നാടിനെ മുഴുവന് നടുക്കിയ കൊപാതകം നടന്നത്. കോട്ടയം മാന്നാനത്തെ വീട്ടില് നിന്ന് കെവിനെയും ബന്ധുവിനെയും അക്രമികള് തട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകുകയായിരുന്നു. ദലിത് വിഭാഗത്തില്പ്പെട്ട കെവിന് നീനുവിനെ പ്രണയിച്ച് വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചതിലുള്ള വൈരാഗ്യമാണ് കൊലപാതകത്തില് കലാശിച്ചത്. തെന്മല ചാലിയേക്കരയിലെ തോട്ടില് നിന്നാണ് കെവിന്റെ മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.
ഒരുമിച്ചുള്ള ജീവിതം സ്വന്തം വീട്ടുകാര് തന്നെ തകര്ത്തെറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും പ്രിയതമന്റെ നൊമ്പരപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഒാര്മകള് മാത്രമാണ് നീനവിന് ഇന്ന് സ്വന്തം.
