29 ലക്ഷം കുടുംബങ്ങളാണ് മുൻഗണനാ വിഭാഗത്തിലുള്ളത് അഥവാ പിങ്ക് വിഭാഗത്തിലുള്ളത്.
ഇവരിൽ 91,918 കുടുംബങ്ങൾ റേഷൻ ധാന്യം വാങ്ങിയില്ല. ആളൊന്നിന് നാലുകിലോ അരിയും ഒരു കിലോ ഗോതമ്പുമാണ് ഇവർക്ക് ലഭിക്കുക. കൈകാര്യച്ചെലവായ രണ്ടുരൂപ കിലോയ്ക്ക് ഈടാക്കും. മുൻഗണനാവിഭാഗത്തിൽ എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിൽ 14,974 കുടുംബങ്ങൾ റേഷൻ വാങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല. അന്ത്യോദയാ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ 12,892 കുടുംബങ്ങൾ റേഷൻ വാങ്ങിയില്ല. ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിലാണ് കൂടുതൽ. ഇവിടെ 1759 കുടുംബങ്ങളാണ് റേഷൻ വാങ്ങാത്തത്. പൂർണമായും സൗജന്യമായി കാർഡ് ഒന്നിന് 30 കിലോ അരിയും അഞ്ചുകിലോ ഗോതമ്പുമാണ് ഇവർക്ക് ലഭിക്കുക.
സബ്‌സിഡി വിഭാഗത്തിൽ 1.8 ലക്ഷം പേരാണ് റേഷൻ വാങ്ങാത്തത്.
