പ്രളയത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ചില ജില്ലകളില്‍ എലിപ്പനി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് ചികിത്സാ പ്രോട്ടോകോള്‍ പുറത്തിറക്കി.
എലിപ്പനി ശക്തമായി നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര മാനദണ്ഡമനുസരിച്ച് പ്രതിരോധം, ചികിത്സ, സാമ്പിള്‍ കളക്ഷന്‍ എന്നിവയില്‍ പാലിക്കേണ്ട നിബന്ധനകള്‍ ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളിച്ചതാണ് പ്രോട്ടോകോള്‍. ഈ പ്രോട്ടോകോള്‍ എല്ലാ ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരും കര്‍ശനമായി പാലിക്കണം.രോഗം മൂര്‍ഛിച്ചവര്‍ക്ക് പലര്‍ക്കും പെന്‍സിലിന്‍ ചികിത്സ ആവശ്യമായി വരും, അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രി മുതലുള്ള എല്ലാ ആശുപത്രികളിലും പെന്‍സിലിന്റെ ലഭ്യതയും ഇതിനുവേണ്ട മുന്‍കരുതലുകളും ഉറപ്പ് വരുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് ആരോഗ്യമന്ത്രി കെകെ ശൈലജ ടീച്ചര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. പെന്‍സിലിന്‍ ചികിത്സയെപ്പറ്റി കൃത്യമായ മാര്‍ഗനിര്‍ദേശവും പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സന്നദ്ധ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ക്ക് മാത്രമായി ആശുപത്രികളില്‍ പ്രത്യേക കൗണ്ടര്‍ തുടങ്ങുന്നതാണ്. ഈ കൗണ്ടര്‍ വഴി പ്രതിരോധ ഗുളികകള്‍ നല്‍കും.
രക്ഷാപ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തിന് പോയവരും സന്നദ്ധ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരും നിര്‍ബന്ധമായും പ്രതിരോധ ഗുളിക കഴിച്ചിരിക്കണം
രക്ഷാപ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തില്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെട്ടവരും സന്നദ്ധ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരും വീട് വൃത്തിയാക്കാന്‍ പോയവരും നിര്‍ബന്ധമായും ആഴ്ചയില്‍ ഒരിക്കല്‍ എലിപ്പനിയ്ക്കുള്ള പ്രതിരോധ ഗുളികയായ 200 എംജി ഡോക്‌സിസൈക്ലിന്‍ കഴിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. സാധാരണയായി 100 എംജിയിലുള്ള ഡോക്‌സിസൈക്ലിനാണുള്ളത്. അതിനാല്‍ തന്നെ 100 എംജിയിലുള്ള രണ്ട് ഗുളികകള്‍ ഒരുമിച്ച് കഴിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ആഴ്ച ഗുളിക കഴിച്ചവര്‍ ഈ ആഴ്ചയും കഴിക്കണം.പ്രളയബാധിത പ്രദേശത്ത് സന്നദ്ധ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളില്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെട്ടതിന് ശേഷം ഡോക്ടര്‍മാരെ കാണാന്‍ കഴിയാത്താവര്‍ എത്രയും പെട്ടെന്ന് ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തി പ്രതിരോധ മരുന്ന് കഴിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്.

आगरा वासियों को डराने लगा यमुना का बढ़ता हुआ जलस्तर लगातार जलस्तर बढ़ने से लोगों में दहशत तटवर्ती इलाकों से लेकर शहर में पानी ने किया प्रवेश आपको बता दें लगभग 40 साल बाद यमुना का इतना रौद्र रूप देखने को मिल रहा है यमुना किनारे स्थित प्राचीन कैलाश महादेव मंदिर के प्रांगण में पानी ने प्रवेश कर लिया है मंदिर और आसपास की जगह को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया है सावन माह के चलते मंदिर में भक्तों की भीड़ लगी रहती है जिसके कारण खतरा बना हुआ है मंदिर के महंत और प्रशासन ने जनता से की अपील की मंदिर में दर्शन के लिए अभी ना आए और बाढ़ के खतरे को देखते हुए मेले का आयोजन भी टाल दिया गया है आगरा में यमुना का जलस्तर 499 पर पहुंच गया है जो भी खतरे के निशान 495 से 4 फुट ऊपर चल रहा है जिसको देखते हुए प्रशासन ने तटवर्ती इलाके पर लोगों को जागरूक करना शुरू कर दिया है
