लातूर की फैक्ट्री में जहरीली गैस से दम घुटने से 9 लोगों की मौत हो गई है। बताया जा रहा है कि ये घटना टैंक साफ करते वक्त हुई। साथ ही जहरीली गैस की चपेट में आने से कई मज़दूरों को इलाज के लिए अस्पातल भेज दिया गया है। अधिकारियों के मुताबिक सोमवार देर शाम कीर्ति ऑयल मिल में टैंक की सफाई करते हुए कुछ कामगार बेहोश हो गए। इसके बाद कुछ अन्य कामगार उनके बारे में पता करने के लिए टैंक के भीतर गए, लेकिन वे बाहर नहीं निकले। टैंक में फैली जहरीली गैस से इन सभी की मौत हो गई। जानकारी मिलने पर पहुंची पुलिस ने बताया कि टैंक में जहरीली गैस होने के कारण काफी समय तक बचाव का काम रुका रहा। इसके बाद बचावकर्मियों ने टैंक को तोड़कर पहले गंदे पानी को बाहर निकाला उसके बाद भीतर घुस कर शवों को बाहर निकाला।

मकर संक्रांति के मौके पर पटना में एक नाव के डूबने से 25 लोगों की मौत हो गई। मौके पर एनडीआरएफ की टीमें राहत-बचाव कार्य में जुटी हुईं हैं। पटना के सबलपुर दियारा में शनिवार को गंगा नदी में 40 लोगों को ले जा रही एक नाव के डूब जाने से अब तक 25 लोगों की मौत की खबर है, जिनके शव बरामद कर लिए गए है, जबकि 10 लोगों को बचा लिया गया है। बचाए गए 6 लोगों को पटना मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। वहीं मृतको के परिजनों का रो-रो कर बुरा हाल है। जानकारी के मुताबिक नाव में सवार लोग मकर संक्रांति के मौके पर जिला प्रशासन की ओर से आयोजित पतंगबाज़ी महोत्सव में भाग लेने गए थे और शाम को वापस लौटते वक्त गंगा नदी में ये हादसा हो गया। नाव पलटते ही उसमें सवार लोग नदी में डूबने लगे। चश्मदीदों के मुताबिक ज्यादा लोगों के सवार होने के वजह से नाव का संतुलन बिगड़ गया और नाव पलट गई। इस हादसे में घायल कई लोगों को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने इस हादसे पर दुख जताया है और घायलों के इलाज में पूरी मदद का भरोसा दिलाया है और पूरे मामले की जांच के आदेश दे दिए हैं। साथ ही मृतकों को चार लाख रुपए मुआवजे के तौर पर देने की बात कही है। वहीं प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी हादसे में मारे गए लोगों प शोक प्रकट किया और हादसे में मृत लोगों को परिजनों के लिए मुआवजे का एलान किया।
