Julia Child is the inspiration behind today's Google doodle in most of the world. Not just the doodle, Julia Child was also the inspiration behind award winning movie titled Julie and Julia.
Julia Child was not just a top class chef, but also an author and a television personality who demystified French cooking for the Americans. Her popular book titled Mastering the Art of French Cooking published in 1961 culminated into a television series called The French Chef.
Julia's death in 2004, inspired director Nora Ephron to bring back the extraordinary woman's journey on the big screen in the form of Meryl Streep in a 2009 film titled Julie and Julia.
