എന്നാല്‍ ഇലക്ട്രോണിക് സിഗററ്റുകളും ശ്വാസകോശത്തിന് ദോഷമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നതായാണ് ആതന്‍സ് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിയിലെ ചില ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞര്‍ നടത്തിയ കണ്ടെത്തലുകള്‍ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. പത്ത് മിനിട്ടിലധികം ഇലക്ട്രോണിക് സിഗററ്റ് വലിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ശ്വാസകോശങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ശ്വാസിക്കാന്‍ പ്രയാസം അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നതായാണ് ഈ പഠനത്തില്‍ പറയുന്നത്.സിഗരറ്റിനെക്കാള്‍ ഇ സിഗരറ്റിനെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവരുടെ എണ്ണം ഉയരുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് പുതിയ കണ്ടെത്തല്‍
