Gayle played an unbeaten 104 off 63 balls in an explosive manner. They just hit a four but six sixes Gayle, playing his second match in the league, is the first batsman to score a hundred in the 11th edition.
This is the sixth century of Gayle in the history of the IPL. Gayle made four consecutive fours in the 14th match of the match and Rashid Khan in the third over.
