Henrik Lundqvist gave a brilliant performance in this game as he nearly shutout the Penguins. Brian Boyle gave the Rangers the early lead when he scored to make it 1 - 0 New York in the 1st period. Then in the 2nd Jussi Jokinen tied the game at 1 goal apiece. Moments later Brad Richards scored on a power play to make the score 2 - 0 Rangers heading into the 2nd intermission. Henrik Lundqvist would continue to play exceptional in net and the Rangers held on for the 2 - 1 victory. The New York Rangers win the series and advance to the next round after being down 3 - 1 to the Penguins earlier in the series. The Rangers won 3 straight games and now move on to the Eastern Conference Finals where they will be facing either the Bruins or Canadiens.
