'Day 5 of the Men Junior's Hockey World Cup in Delhi where we see Germany take on Egypt.
Germany needed a win to have a chance to advance to the quarter-finals and immediately got on the scoreboard when The Captain Mathias Muller (C) innocent looking cross into the D but deflected off Egyptian defender resulting in an own goal. Germany doubled their tally in the 19th minute by Niklas Bruns when the ball was crossed into the D by Christopher Ruhr, leaving the game at the break 2-0 to Germany, and Egypt failing to show any dominance on the game.
The Second Half started off with Germany controlling again and they managed to grab their 3rd goal when Henning Huttermann was quickly closed down by Wael Noureldin's (GK) but Huttermann managed to pass the ball into the path of Christopher Ruhr, who slotted the ball into the net and saw Germany lead 3-0. Germany carried on pressed and grabbed their 4th goal 18 minutes before full time when they were awarded a Penalty Corner. Taken by Mathias Muller, Christopher Ruhr dragflick was saved by Wael Noureldin's (GK) but his save went back into the path of Muller who touched the ball into the net.
Things got even worse for Egypt when Amr Raafat was deemed to have blocked the shot with his hand resulting in a Penalty Stroke for Germany, and it was easily converted into the net by Christopher Ruhr seeing Germany sail into a comfortable 5-0 lead. However Germany confirmed there

France have been the story of this 2013 Hero Hockey Junior World Cup in India. They arrived discreetly in the competition but managed to win over the American Champions (Argentina), European Champions (Belgium) and Asian Champions (Malaysia) to progress to their first ever final in a top international event.
They had however their work cut out against Germany, defending Junior World Cup champions and five time winners of the junior flagship event.
France were supported by a large colony of singing fans, but Germany killed the suspense early when Niklas Wellen stole the ball in the French circle and slotted it past a surprised Edgar Reynaud in the second minute of play.
The French promptly settled their nerves and organized their game. They were working hard, keeping the Germans at bay and not hesitating to rush forward when they saw an opening.
In the 16th minute, a quick exchange of passes found Gaspard Baumgarten alone at the top of the circle and he did not think twice to blast a shot past Victor Aly in the German goal, much to the vocal pleasure of the bleu-blanc-rouge crowd.
Germany came back with more purpose in their stride and play but, incredibly, France scored and took the lead on their first penalty-corner of the match in the 40th minute as Gaspard Baumgarten claimed his second goal of the game.

Day 8 and the final match of the day of the Men's Hero Hockey Junior World Cup in India, where Pakistan take on India.
Last match of the day promised to be exciting, as always when India and Pakistan meet in international hockey. The two neighbours have been giants of the hockey scene for the longest time and their classic rivalry always attracts big crowds, whether at senior or junior level, for a final or a 9th place as tonight.
Both teams were eager to get into action and the flag waving crowd was roaring in anticipation. The Indians, sporting their new bright yellow kit, rushed forward from the opening whistle. They created a few chances but, as too often in this competition, were too hasty in trying to conclude. They were surprised in the 7th minute when Pakistani Muhammad Dilber received the ball behind their defense and calmly passed it to Rizwan Ali left totally unmarked in the middle of the circle for an easy push in goal.
India tried to come back quickly but, encouraged by the crowd, were pushing their runs a tad too far, making it difficult for themselves to deliver useful passes. Pakistani goal-keeper Mazhar Abbas handled well some hot situations and Pakistan weathered the Indian storm calmly, dashing forward in bold counter-attacks each time they had an opening.

The first goal of the game came from a Pakistan Penalty corner, the initial shot saved by Wael Noureldin, first to re-act Irfan Muhammad was on hand to slot in the loose ball, a goal poachers goal.
Egypt came close to levelling the score; Amin Yousaf equal to Ramy Mohamed's shot.

Pakistan seemed in a better frame of mind than in their initial matches and pushed Belgium back on their heels in the initial fifteen minutes of the match in the first half. Pakistan came close when Muhammad Irfan passed the ball to Muhammad Adnan in the D who managed to turn and get a clear shot on goal only to see it go wide of the mark. On the opening day of the in the Hero Hockey Junior World Cup Pool C in India, hosts India took on Netherlands. The home side couldn't overcome a strong performance from Netherlands who were 3-2 victors.
It was Netherlands that got the early goal Tom Hiebendaal's cross circle pass to Milan van Baal, who gets the better of Harjot Singh. Van Baal silencing the crowd.
India didn't have to wait long to level the score, Gurjinder Singh's fierce dragflick to make it 1-1.
But Netherlands reclaimed the lead with 10 minutes left in the half, a strong drive from Pepijn Luijkx, Rik van Kan flick on, and forces a save, Mark Rijkers fastest to react to the rebound with a reverse shot, two one to the Netherlands.

'The last match of pool play between India and Korea was eagerly expected by the Indian fans and media. The local team absolutely needed to win to qualify for the quarter-finals, when a loss or even a draw would push Korea through.
India was immediately on the attack and forced a penalty-corner in the 3rd minute, but Lee Seyoung easily saved the low drag flick. Korea were equally unsuccessful on their first penalty-corner when You Seungju crashed his powerful drag-flick on the crossbar.
