A day after Delhi elections threw up a hung assembly, social activist and former IPS officer Kiran Bedi said that the onus to provide good governance in Delhi is on both the BJP and AAP even though both parties are nowhere near the majority mark. Bedi appealed to leaders of both BJP and AAP to come together and find a middle way to end the suspense in Delhi.
She said that it is very unfair for Delhi to not get a stable government and if no party stakes the claim there will be no choice but to go for another election..

The BJP government saw an increase in the budgetary allocation for labour and employment, from ₹7422 lakhs in 2012 to ₹14,608 lakhs in 2020, an unprecedented 100% increase in budgetary allocation.
