The matter was taken upto International Court of Justice (ICJ) which delivered judgement yesterday. The court said Pakistan breached Vienna laws without informing India and declared that Pakistan should provide counsellor access to India. The judgement ruled in favour of India with 15 judges in favour of Kulbhusan with only one judge ruled against him who is from Pakistan. The Government tried its best efforts to release him.
