Jammu and Kashmir Governor, Satya Pal Malik on Sunday said the militants, if they have to, should kill the corrupt people who have looted Kashmir instead of the innocent. Inaugurating the Kargil Ladakh tourism festival 2019 at Khree Sultan Choo stadium in Kargil, he said: 'Why are you (militants) killing innocents including SPOs and PSOs. What will you gain by this? 'If you have to kill why don't you kill the corrupt who have looted the country and Kashmir for so long.' Malik also said that the militants do not have the power to erode the authority of the Indian government. 'Yours is a futile struggle. You are losing your lives for nothing.

News takजम्मू कश्मीर के कुलगाम में सुरक्षाबलों मुठभेड़ में तीन आतंकियों को ढेर कर दिया है. जम्मू कश्मीर पुलिस के डीजीपी एसपी वैद ने ट्वीट कर बताया कि तीनों आतंकियों के शव और हथियार बरामद कर लिए गए हैं. बताया जा रहा है कि ये वही आतंकी हो सकते हैं जिन्होंने शुक्रवार को पुलिस के जवान सलीम शाह की हत्या की थी. मुठभेड़ के दौरान सुरक्षा बलों ने एक मकान को भी उड़ाया. फिलहाल इलाके में सर्च ऑपरेशन जारी है. सुरक्षाबलो को शक है कि इन आतंकियों के मददगार अभी छिपे हो सकते हैं.

Rajouri resident Aurangzeb was posted in the militant stronghold of Shopian in south Kashmir. He was abducted from Kalampora area in Pulwama and was proceeding on leave for Eid, officials said earlier on Thursday.

JAMMU LINKS NEWS | The family of the abducted Special Police Officer (SPO) has made an emotional plea in a video, appealing to the militants to forgive and release him from their custody.
Mudasir Ahmad Lone was abducted by the suspected militants last night from his home in Chankitar village of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
In an emotional appeal that has gone viral on social networking websites, the mother of the SPO surrounded by her three daughters, said: “He is my only son among four children. He (Mudasir) had to come back home (to quit the job) and was to declare it this Friday in the mosque. However, he got engaged in some work and didn’t get time.”
She appealed to the militants to have mercy on her and her three daughters and set Mudasir free for Allah’s sake.
“You are also my own children. I request you to kindly set him free and he will quit the job and apologise for all his mistakes. If you hear of any complaint in future you can kill all of us,” she said.
