Jammu and Kashmir Governor, Satya Pal Malik on Sunday said the militants, if they have to, should kill the corrupt people who have looted Kashmir instead of the innocent. Inaugurating the Kargil Ladakh tourism festival 2019 at Khree Sultan Choo stadium in Kargil, he said: 'Why are you (militants) killing innocents including SPOs and PSOs. What will you gain by this? 'If you have to kill why don't you kill the corrupt who have looted the country and Kashmir for so long.' Malik also said that the militants do not have the power to erode the authority of the Indian government. 'Yours is a futile struggle. You are losing your lives for nothing.

दक्षिण कश्मीर के पुलवामा जिले में आतंकवादियों ने एक बैंक से 11 लाख रुपये की लूट को अंजाम दिया। घटना की जानकारी होने पर मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने बताया कि रंतीपुरा बैंक शाखा में कुछ नकाबपोश आतंकियों ने लूट की वारदात को आंजाम दिया। बैंक में लगे सीसीटीवी फुटेज़ में आप साफ देख सकते हैं कि, कुछ नकाबपोश आतंकी बैंक के अंदर दाखिल हुए। उनके हाथों में असलहें भी हैं...जिसके दम पर आतंकियों ने वहां मौजूद लोगों को बंधक बना लिया और बैंक से रकम लूटकर फरार हो गए। वहीं, पुलिस ने बताया कि लूटी गई रकम में से 16,000 रुपये बंद हो चुके नोट हैं और बाकी नई वैध करेंसी है। आपको बता दे कि नोटबंदी के बाद से जम्मू-कश्मीर में बैंकों में लूट की वारदातें लगातार बढ़ रही हैं। 8 दिसंबर को ही चार आतंकियों ने पुलवामा जिले के अरिहल में जम्मू-कश्मीर बैंक की एक शाखा से करीब 10 लाख रुपये लूट लिए थे। इससे पहले 21 नवंबर को आतंकियों ने मध्य कश्मीर के बडगाम जिले के चरार-ए-शरीफ इलाके में एक बैंक से 13 लाख रुपये लूट की थी।
