'Sudani' fame Samuel Robinson back to Mollywood
'Paid less because I am an African'. This was 19 year old Samuel Robinson's thought after the movie 'Sudani from Nigeria'. This Nigerian actor had blamed the movie producers for paying him less. This movie was one of the successful movies of this year. It was also on talks for Samuel's payment controversy. Though 'Sudani from Nigeria' did not have big stars, but its tender story on ordinary moments proved it a superhit.
'Sudani from Nigeria' was released on 23rd of March this year.
Samuel had returned to his home country after the release of Sudani from Nigeria. Nothing much was heard about him, and the payment got settled in a friendly manner. This movie worked well even in gulf countries. This alleged victim of racism is going to be seen in the movie 'Purple' which will be directed by Mr. Parthasaradhy who is the director of the Telugu film Kanchanamala Cable TV in 2005. 'Purple' will go on floors from the 25th of May.
The shooting locations will be Coimbatore and Khozhikode..
