Key Points of Press Briefing

-Assam's final NRC draft, 4 million names have been excluded. As we have been told, the indigenous people, tea plantation workers have been effected.

-The questions of credibility of the process arises. This has interstate repercussion, involves humanitarian aspects and our relationship with the neighbouring state of Bangladesh.

-Families should not be separated. The government of Assam should hold a meeting with all political parties of the state.

-PM Modi should stop mocking the poor. He must tell clearly what he has done for the impoverished of the country instead of giving sermons.
