4. लापरवाही एक बार फिर से मानव जीवन पर भारी पड़ गई. हिमाचल प्रदेश के नूरपुर में जिस बस दुर्घटना में 27 लोगों की जान चली गई, उसके लिए स्थानीय प्रशासन और स्कूल प्रशासन दोनों की लापरवाही जिम्मेदार है. दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हुई स्कूल बस को 67 साल का सेवानिवृत्त सेना का कर्मचारी चला रहा था. स्थानीय लोगों के मुताबिक वह दिल का मरीज था और उसे पहले भी दो बार दिल का दौरा पड़ चुका था. स्थानीय लोगों के मुताबिक बस की हालत भी खस्ता थी और स्कूल प्रशासन पैसा बचाने के लिए खटारा बस में ही बच्चों को घर छोड़ता और लाता था.

एटा स्कूल बस हादसे के बाद भी दिल्ली के प्राइवेट स्कूल सबक लेते नहीं दिख रहे हैं। . .. दिल्ली के बुराड़ी इलाके में अभिभावकों ने एक निजी स्कूल बस के कंडक्टर और ड्राइवर को पकड़कर पुलिस के हवाल किया है । अभिभावकों का आरोप है की कंडक्टर चला रहा था स्कूल बस और ड्राइवर सुबह सुबह ही मिला शराब के नशे में । पुलिस को स्कूल बस चला रहे शख्स के पास हैवी गाडी चलाने का लाइसेंस भी नहीं मिला और पुलिस ने भी लाइसेंस न होने का चालान कर बस को छोड़ दिया। साथ ही स्कूल ने मामले में कुछ भी बोलने से इनकार कर दिया ।
ड्राइवर को शराब के नशे में होने की पुष्टि करने के लिए उसकी मेडिकल जांच की बात पुलिस ने कही --- लेकिन सबसे बड़ा सवाल ये है की इतनी बड़ी लापरवाही का जिम्मेदार कौन ?
क्या स्कूल प्रसाशन को एटा जैसी बड़ी घटना का इन्तजार है जिसने कई मासूमों की जान ले ली ?
