New Star Trek Intro Darkness Footage gets bundled with the Hobbit screenings in December. If you're planning on seeing the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey the weekend of December 14th, you'll have two chances to catch a sneak preview of the Star Trek Into Darkness movie. Here's how it works, the IMAX Hobbit screenings will show the first nine minutes of the film and the Non-Imax Hobbit screenings will show the first trailer for the
film. And to be clear, the trailer is completely different than the 9-minute-preview.
We don't have too many details about the trailer just yet, but TrekMovie.com confirms it will be a traditional theatrical trailer and not just a short teaser trailer. The trailer also isn't just a condensed version of the first nine minutes of the film, as it draws from several
different parts of the movie. After the weekend of December 14th, the trailer will be attached to the front end of some other releases like Paramount's Jack Reacher and should be available online as well.
