Shimla. Hundreds of workers of labor organization CITU on the issue of keeping around two hundred sanitation workers, ward attendants, security personnel, staff nurses, data entry operators, mess cooks and helpers, lab technicians and other Covid personnel and 24 security personnel of IGMC out of job. Violated Section 144 by tying black bands on their faces and carrying out a silent demonstration under the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the Ridge in Shimla. The workers have now become angry and have announced an all-out fight. CITU has warned that if the fired security personnel and Covid workers do not get justice, the movement will become violent. In the next series of the movement, moving forward from Satyagraha, there will be Jail Bharo Movement, arrests, Chakka Jam, Raj Bhavan, Oak Over and Secretariat march.
