A clear example of wasting public money has emerged due to poor planning by both the contractor & the officals of electricity & PWD. Awater pipeline was damaged in several places in Loliem-Polem due to the ongoing work taken up by the electricity department for laying underground cables. Locals expressed frustration at the lack of responsibility and planning shown by the authorities, especially when the pipeline got damaged during the digging. They questioned who should be held accountable for this, as now the pipeline needs to be shut down for repair, leaving the public without water.
