1982: -- विश्व कनिष्ठ प्रतियोगिता, सियोल में १ स्वर्ण व एक रजत जीता।
नई दिल्ली एशियाई खेलों में २ रजत पदक जीते।
1983: -- कुवैत में एशियाई दौड़कूद प्रतियोगिता में १ स्वर्ण व १ रजत पदक जीता।
नई दिल्ली अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आमंत्रण खेलों में २ स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त किए।
1984: -- इंगल्वुड संयुक्त राज्य में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आमंत्रण खेलों में २ स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त किया।
लॉस एञ्जेलेस ओलम्पिक में ४००मी बाधा दौड़ में हिस्सा लिया और १/१०० सेकिंड से कांस्य पदक से वंचित हुईं। ४x४०० मीटर रिले में सातवाँ स्थान प्राप्त किया। सिंगापुर में 8 देशीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आमंत्रण खेलों में ३ स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त किए। टोक्यो अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आमंत्रण खेलों में ४००मी बाधा दौड़ में चौथा स्थान प्राप्त किया।
1985: -- चेक गणराज्य में ओलोमोग में विश्व रेलवे खेलों में २ स्वर्ण व २ रजत पदक जीते, उन्हें सर्वोत्तम रेलवे खिलाड़ी घोषित किया गया। भारतीय रेल के इतिहास में यह पहला अवसर था जब किसी भारतीय स्त्री या पुरुष को यह सम्मान मिला।
