Yoddhas – Indians Fighting Against Cancer, is a UNESCO award winning Cancer Support Organization. Started in 2014, Yoddhas is a brain child of Rahul Yadav. He established Yoddhas when he was diagnosed with Cancer at a young age of 28.

The objective of Yoddhas was to provide informational, psychological, emotional and financial support to all other Yoddhas fighting against cancer. In India, cancer is growing at a rapid pace. While the treatment is provided by expert doctors, a Fighter or a Yoddhas also requires a great deal of support in other aspects. This support is vastly lacking in India and Yoddhas is trying to fulfill this void.


In less than four years, Rahul with his vision, dedication, belief and selfless service, has created a great reputation and respect for Yoddhas in the society especially amongst those impacted by this dreaded disease.

Yoddhas use various social networking sites like Facebook, Whatsapp groups and website support forums and even local chapters that help people meet in person. On these social networking sites, people post their fears, questions and progress on fighting the disease.

This way cancer patients support each other emotionally and share personal experiences and information which helps them in fighting the deadly disease.
