3 Easy Recipes on the go | Quick Healthy Snacks - 3 ways with Deao Travel Products

Whether you are a busy mom or hockey dad, here are 3 easy recipes you can make ahead for when you are in a hurry. Perfect on the go snacks.. Healthy and nutritious. My kids love them as an after school snack.

Recipe Details:

Healthy Bars
2 ripe Bananas
3/4 cup Almond flour
1/2 cup to 3/4 cup chocolate chips - I used Dark unsweetned ones
3/4 cup quick cooking oats
3/4 cup shredded coconut- unsweetned

Mix them all together and bake for 12-15 mins at 400 F. Let cool. Cut and eat.

2. Dates Fudge
1 cup pitted dates
3/4 cup walnuts
2 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Grind Dates with all other ingredients. Combine them all and then tightly pack on a baking sheet/ greased plate etc and let chill for 15-20 mins before cutting into squares. Can last in the freezer for a month if individually wrapped.

3. Energy balls

1 cup dates
1/3 cup Pistachios- crushed
1/2 cup Sunflower and Pumpkin seeds ( coarsely ground)
- Grind dates and then combine with the other ingredients. Mix well and then form golf ball sized ladoos. Let chill and then enjoy.

    Spicy Zucchini

    Ingredients/Method

    1 chopped Zucchini
    2-3 tbsp Oil for cooking
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    1 tsp mustard seeds
    1 dried red chilli
    1 small chopped onion
    1 tbsp grated ginger
    1/2 can of tomato sauce
    1 can of water ( adjust as per need)
    salt per taste
    1/2 tsp red chilli powder
    1 tsp turmeric
    4-5 stalks of cilantro chopped ( for garnish)

    Method:

    1. Heat oil and add cumin and mustard seeds. Let them sizzle for 30 secs.
    2. Add dried red chilli, onions and ginger. Mix well.
    3. AddZucchini. Mix in Salt, turmeric and red chilli powder.
    4. Saute for few mins.
    5. Add tomato sauce and water. Simmer until Zucchini is done.
    6. Garnish with cilantro and serve.

    Few chocolate bard and dry fruits of your choice. i used peanuts, walnuts and pecans.
    Spread ingredients on baking sheet lined with parchment paper and put in an oven heated to 350 F for 5-7 mins or until chocolate is melted. Let cool down then snack on.
