Antonio Banderas along with Martin Sheen and Rodrigo Santoro are set to star in The 33, based on the Copiapo mining accident in 2010. Deadline reports that Banderas will play Mario Sepulveda, who became the face of the 33 miners. The film's portrayal was developed in collaboration with the miners, the rescuers and their families.
