Anti-Corruption Branch, Delhi/GNCTD raid on BSES,
Customer Care officer, BSES was demanding bribe for installation of electricity meter. Customer Care officer, BSES was caught red handed while demanding & accepting bribe. Bribe amount of Rs. 50,000/- has been recovered.
Role of other BSES officials are being investigated.
Brief facts: -
Facts of the case are that today i.e. on 14.12.23, complainant Sanjay (name changed), visited the office of Anti-Corruption Branch, Delhi. He informed that, he is a retired government official and from the amount of his retirement fund, he has recently purchased a flat at Nizamuddin, Delhi. He further informed that since then he has visited the office of BSES time & again for installation of Electricity meter, but the same has not been installed despite fulfilling all the criteria. The complainant informed that he met with officials of BSES namely Shri Lalit Mukheriya, the Divisional General Manager; Shri Nishchit, Assistant Manager Power Supply, Rakesh Gupta, Commercial officer and Devesh Sharma, the Customer Care Officer. He requested them for considering his application, but the said BSES officials are forcing him to pay bribe of Rs. 50,000/- in advance and Rs. 50,000/- at the time of installation of the electricity meter, then only the electricity meter will be installed. He is a retired government official and had performed his duty with honesty & dignity and he don’t want to pay bribe.

On the receipt of the complaint, the complainant was produced before ACP Jarnail Singh. The complainant was examined. After being satisfied, ACP Jarnail Singh briefed the facts to DCP/Anti-Corruption Branch. As per the direction, a raiding team was constituted under the close supervision of ACP Jarnail Singh and over all supervision of Ms. Shweta Singh Chauhan, DCP/Anti-Corruption Branch, comprising of Insp. Krishan, Insp. Pawan Kumar, HC Krishan, HC Pankaj and HC Jagdeep. Thereafter, th

साउथ दिल्ली के नेब सराय थाने इलाके के अस्थल मंदिर रोड के कार्नर पर बीएसइएस के कार्य के लिए बिना सुरक्षा घेराव के खोदे गये गढ्ढे में गिरने से 30 साल के एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई। मृतक की पहच रवि के रूप में हुई है।
ये है वो मौत का गढ्ढा जिसमे गिरने से 30 वर्षीय रवि की मौत हो गयी है। रवि संगम विहार का रहने वाला था। रोज की तरह कल भी सुबह अपने घर से काम पर गया हुआ था। और जब रात को अपने घर लौट रहा था, लेकिन अस्थल मंदिर रोड पर बीएसईएस के द्वारा खुदवालाये हुए गढ्ढे में गिरने से उसकी मौत हो गयी। ये गढ्ढा बीएसईएस के लिए करवाया जा रहा था जहाँ पर सुरक्षा के कोई भी उपाय नही किये गए थे। घटना के बारे में परिवार को आज सुबह पता चला तब उन्होंने पुलिस को कॉल किया।
परिवार का आरोप है कि यह पूरी तरह से लापरवाही का मामला है। जिसकी वजह से हँसता खेलता पूरा परिवार तबाह हो गया। रवि घर में इकलौता कमाने वाला था जो पत्नी और 2 बच्चे के अलावा 1 बहन का भी भरण पोषण करता था। अब उसकी मौत के बाद परिवार सड़क पर आ गया।

उत्तरी दिल्ली के सुभाष मोहल्ले में एक मुस्लिम परीवार के साथ कुछ ऐसा ही हो रहा है... पिछले लगभग 2 महीने से बिल न जमा होने के कारण इनकी बिजली काट दी गई थी जिसके बाद इन्हें काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ा.. जैसे- तैसे करके इन्होनें बिल जमा तो कर दिया लेकिन उसके बाद भी इनकी बिजली चालू नहीं की गई... ये वो डिमांड ड्राफ्ट है जो इन्होनें बीएसईएस में जमा करवाया था लेकिन इनके मुताबिक बिजली विभाग का कहना है कि बिल अभी तक जमा नहीं हुआ... वहीं परिवार के मुताबिक बिजली वाले इनके घर पर आते हैं और बिजली चालू करवाने के बहाने इनसे पैसे ले जाते हैं लेकिन पिछले 2 महीने से अब तक इनका घर अंधकारमय है...

वहीं इस मामले पर जब दिल्ली दर्पण कि टीम ने बिजली विभाग के अधिकारी से बात करनी चाही तो उसने कैमरे पर कुछ भी बोलने से इंकार कर दिया... लेकिन अगर लोगों को इस तरह की दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ेगा तो क्या लोगों का सरकारी दफ्तरों और अधिकरियों पर भरोसा बना रह पाएगा ये एक बड़ा सवाल है...

साउथ दिल्ली के आर.के.पुरम इलाके में BSES के एक लाइनमेन की करंट लगने के कारण मौत हो गयी है। मृतक का नाम अर्जुन है। परिवार वालों का आरोप है कि BSES की लापरवाही की वजह से अर्जुन की जान गई है। पुलिस मामला दर्ज कर जांच में जुट गयी है।
ये तस्वीर है मृतक अर्जुन की जो कल घर से निकला था काम पर जाने को लेकिन जब लौटा तो कफ़न में लिपटा हुआ था। दरअसल अर्जुन जब BSES के दफ्तर में ड्यूटी पर था तो उसे कॉल मिला । वो कल शाम 6 बजे के करीब आर. के. पुरम सेक्टर 7 के एक घर में बिजली ठीक करने गया था चेक करने के बाद पता चला की दिक्कत बिजली के पोल से है जिसे ठीक करने के लिए अर्जुन से कहा गया लेकिन पोल की बिजली नही काटी गयी थी। अर्जुन जब खंबे पर चढ़ा तो उसे जबरदस्त झटका लगा जिस वजह से वह खंबे से नीचे गिर गया और उसकी मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर शव का आज 11 बजे के करीब पोस्टमार्टम एम्स ट्रामा में करा परिवार वालों को सुपुर्त कर दिया है
