What a shocking episode of Game of Thrones—I have the recap and spoilers on the big season 3 finale!
First of all, I should send my condolences to all my fellow GOT fans who are in mourning today—yeah, I'm sadly referring to the loss of Catelyn, Robb, Talisa, their unborn baby, and Robb's direwolf Grey Wind, who all died tragically during the Tully/Frey wedding.
Richard Madden, who plays Robb on the show, spoke out during a recent conference call, and explained just how truly difficult it was shooting that scene.
He said, 'Robb Stark with his dead queen in his arms, and her stomach ripped open and blood pumping out of that. His mother getting her throat slit. It was a really disturbing day, and just because it's such a big part of my life, of Michelle's and Oona's and all of the crew.'
Richard also admitted that after he shot the scene, he got on a plane back home to London and cried the entire way. He called himself, 'the crazy boy crying on the plane.'
Also in last night's big episode, we saw that Jon Snow is still a crow at heart as he abandoned Ygritte, Arya showed The Hound what a tough gal she is, and Bran used his warging abilities with his direwolf AND Hodor.
