Pitch invader Daniel Jarvis famously known as Jarvo (the name on his jersey with number 69) has finally been arrested for breaching the security at The Oval. He did it twice at the Headingley in two innings and was banned for lifetime from the venue and was also fined. On Friday, during the second day’s play, he came on to bowl with the same jersey he wore the last two times during the 34th over of England’s innings.

While the pitch invasion from him looked funny the first time, for that to happen two more times has raised serious questions over the ground security in England. At The Oval, Jarvo almost bowled the third delivery of the 34th over before barging in to Jonny Bairstow at the non-striker’s end. The batsman was clearly unaware of him running in and was shocked after Jarvo rammed into him.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes could end up missing the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup in the UAE if reports are to be believed. The cricketer was set to take part in the 2021 Indian Premier League, representing Rajasthan Royals, but he pulled out earlier. Back in July, Stokes took an indefinite break from cricket to take care of his mental well-being.
