जनपद बिजनौर श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी का पर्व हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। जनपद भर में श्रद्धालुओं ने मंदिरों में पहुंचकर भगवान कृष्ण की पूजा अर्चना कर प्रसाद चढ़ाया और भगवान कृष्ण को झूला झुलाया।
बिजनौर की रिजर्व पुलिस लाईन में श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी का पर्व हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। इस मौके पर पुलिस लाईन में हवन यज्ञ का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें पुलिस अधीक्षक डा0 धर्मवीर सिंह सहित पुलिस परिवार ने विधि विधान के साथ पूजा अर्चना कर भोग लगाया।
धामपुर के मौहल्ला खातियान स्थित सुनारो वाले शिव मंदिर में भी श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी का पर्व हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। इस मौके पर उपस्थिति भक्तजनों ने राधा कृष्ण के मनोहरी भजनों का गायन किया और महामंत्र का जाम कर वातावरण को कृष्णमय बना दिया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में विधि विधान के साथ आरती कर भोग लगाया और श्रद्धालुओं को प्रसाद वितरित किया गया।
वहीं धामपुर के अन्य मंदिरों में भी श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी पर्व के अवसर पर श्रद्धालुओं की भारी भीड़ दिखाई दी। जन्माष्टमी के मौके पर मंदिरों को भव्य रूप से सजाया गया। इस मौके पर उपस्थित श्रद्धालुओं ने भगवान श्री कृष्ण की विधि विधान के साथ पूजा अर्चना की और प्रसाद चढ़ाया। रात्रि में लगभग सभी स्थानों पर भजन कीर्तन का आयोजन किया गया।

One of the big ritual is Dahi Handi which is celebrated in the western part of India predominantly Mumbai and parts of Maharashtra. Since morning large group of young boys and girls who are called as 'Govindas' in localy are seen visiting various places across the city to break the Dahi Handi as per the ritual. जनपद बिजनौर में दीपों का पर्व दीपावली हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। दरअसल भगवान श्री राम के 14 वर्ष के वनवास के बाद अयोध्या लौटने की खुशी में दीपावली का त्यौहार मनाया जाता है। जब भगवान राम अयोध्या वापस पहुँचे थे तो अयोध्यावासियों ने दीपक जलाकर पूरे अयोध्या को रोशनी से सराबोर कर दिया था। भगवान श्री राम के वनवास पूरा कर अयोध्या पहुंचने की खुशी में मनाया जाने वाला पर्व दीपावली के अवसर पर दिन में लोगों ने जमकर खरीदारी की। लोग बाज़ार में मिट्टी के दीपक, कंडील और पटाखों की खरीदारी करते नज़र आये। इसके उपरांत शाम के समय घरो में माता लक्ष्मी और भगवान श्रीगणेश की पूजा अर्चना की गई। इसके उपरांत जमीन से लेकर आसमान तक रोशनी में सराबोर दिखा, बाजारो में भी देर रात तक रौनक रही, लोगो ने आतिशबाजी का जमकर लुत्फ उठाया, आतिषबाजी को लेकर बच्चो में खासा उत्साह देखने को मिला, बच्चो के साथ साथ बड़ो ने भी खूब आतिशबाजी की।

जनपद बिजनौर के स्योहारा में भैयादूज का पर्व हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। आपको बता दें कि भाई बहन के निश्चल प्रेम का त्यौहार भैयादूज मनाया जा रहा है इस त्यौहार को यम द्वितीया भी कहते हैं। भैयादूज का त्यौहार कार्तिक माह के शुक्ल पक्ष की द्वितीय तिथि को मनाया जाता है। ये त्यौहार दीपावली के पांच दिनों के महापर्व का अखिरी त्यौहार है। बहनें इस दिन भाईयों को तिलक करती हैं और भाई उन्हें उपहार देते हैं। भैयादूज के दिन यमराज और उनकी बहन यमुना का पूजन किया जाता है। मान्यता है कि यम द्वितीया के दिन भाई-बहन को हाथ पकड़कर यमुना नदी में स्नान करना चाहिए। ऐसा करने से भाई को दीर्घ आयु और बहन को सौभाग्य की प्राप्ति होती है।
