केरल में लगातार हो रही बारिश से हालात बेहद गंभीर बने हुए हैं। बाढ़ और भूस्खलन के चलते कई जिलों में जनजीवन अस्त व्यस्त है। इस तबाही से राज्य भर में 35 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत चुकी है, कई लापता हैं, जबकि बहुत सारे लोग बेघर हो गए हैं। यहां के प्रभावित इलाकों में एनडीआरएफ की टीमों का बचाव अभियान जारी है। भारी भारिश से राज्य के बांध भी खतरनाक जलस्तर पर पहुंच गए हैं और ‘रेड अलर्ट’ जारी कर दिया गया है। सोमवार को कक्की डैम के दो गेट खोलने का फैसला लिया गया, जिससे दक्षिण और मध्य केरल की कई नदियों का जलस्तर बढ़ना तय है। हालात को देखते हुए सबरीमला भगवान अयप्पा मंदिर की तीर्थयात्रा भी फिलहाल रोक दी गई है। राज्य के राजस्व मंत्री के. राजन ने सोमवार को पतनमथिट्टा के कलक्ट्रेट में समीक्षा बैठक और हालात का आकलन करने के बाद यह जानकारी दी।

സമൂഹ മാധ്യമങ്ങളില് കൂടെ ഉള്ള വ്യാജ പ്രച്ചരനങ്ങളെ തിരിച്ചറിയാന് ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് കഴിയണം എന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന് അറിയിച്ചു.മുല്ലപ്പെരിയാര് ഉള്പ്പടെയുള്ള ഡാമുകള്ക്ക് ബലക്ഷയം സംഭവിച്ചതായും ഡാമുകള് തകരും എന്ന തരത്തിലുമാണ് സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെ വാര്ത്തകള് പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. മുല്ലപെരിയാര് ഉള്പ്പടെ കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരു ഡാമിനും ഒരപകടവും സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. എല്ലാ സുരക്ഷാ മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങള് പാലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് കേരളത്തിലെ എല്ലാ ഡാമുകളും പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് മന്ത്രി എംഎം മണിയും ഇന്നലെ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു.. യഥാര്ഥ വിവരങ്ങള് ഉള്ക്കൊള്ളുന്ന നിര്ദേശങ്ങള് പിന്തുടരാന് സമൂഹം തയാറാകണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
റവന്യൂ വകുപ്പിനാണ് യോഗത്തില് വിമര്ശനം നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്നത്. ചില മേഖലകളില് ഏകോപനം ഉണ്ടായില്ലെന്നു വിമര്ശനം ഉണ്ടായി. നംതിട്ട ജില്ലയില് നിരവധിപ്പേരാണ് വീടുകളില് കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്നത്. ഇക്കാര്യം യോഗത്തില് വിശദീകരിച്ചപ്പോഴാണ് വിമര്ശനം ഉണ്ടായത്. സാഹചര്യങ്ങള് മുന്കൂട്ടി കാണുന്നതില് വീഴ്ച വന്നുവെന്ന് യോഗത്തില് അഭിപ്രായം ഉയര്ന്നു.
