സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്കും ഭിന്നശേഷിക്കാരായ സ്കോളെര്‍സിനും എംഫിലില്‍ ഒരു വര്‍ഷവും പിഎച്ച്ഡിയ്ക്ക് രണ്ടു വര്‍ഷവും കൂടുതലായി അനുവദിക്കും.പിഎച്ച്ഡി പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കാനുള്ള കുറഞ്ഞ കാലയളവ് രണ്ടു വര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ നിന്നും മൂന്നായി ഉയര്‍ത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച്ച വൈസ് ചാന്‍സലര്‍ നല്‍കിയ ഡയറക്ടീവിലാണ് പുതിയ തീരുമാനങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിച്ചത്. ഇവ കൂടാതെ റിസര്‍ച്ച് പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളുടെ യോഗ്യത, അഡ്മിഷന്‍, ഘടന, മൂല്യനിര്‍ണ്ണയം എന്നിവയിലും പരിഷ്കാരങ്ങള്‍ വരുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.അധ്യാപകരുടെ ഇടയില്‍ പുതിയ തീരുമാനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വന്‍ സ്വീകാര്യത ലഭിച്ചു.

इस अवसर पर एसएसए यूनिर्वसिटी ने नीतु कुमारी ( शिक्षा), मोहम्मद महबूब आलम ( मानविकी ), शंता सिंह (आईटी), सुधीर कुमार (समाज सेवा), चंद्रेश कुमार (समाज शास्त्र), बिमला प्रसाद (शिक्षा), अविनाश कुशवाहा (समाज सेवा), रणजीत कुमार (शिक्षा), पंकज कुमार वर्मा (समाज सेवा), विकास कुमार भारती ( करियर काउंसलिंग), शशांक शुक्ला (प्रबंधन), मनीष कुमार मोर्य (समाज सेवा) को हॉनररी पीएचडी देकर डाक्टर की उपाधि से नवाजा।
यह अवार्ड शिक्षा, समाज सेवा, करियर काउंसलिंग आदि क्षेत्रों में शानदार काम करे 12 लोगों को दिया गया।
इसके अतिरिक्त समाजसेवी, शिक्षाविदें, आईटी से जुड़े लोगों को भी ग्लोबल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ बोस्टन के द्वारा डाक्टर की उपाधि से नवाजा गया। इस मौके पर आयोजक एवं ग्लोबल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ बोस्टन के प्रेसिडेंट संजीव कुमार बानिक व कई गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित थे।
ग्लोबल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ बोस्टन की तरफ से जल्द ही अगला कार्यक्रम का राष्ट्रीय स्तर के समाजसेवियों को सम्मानित किया जाएगा।
