കർഷകരുടെ കുടുംബത്തിന് സർക്കാർ ധനസഹായം നൽകണമെന്ന് രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. അപ്പര്‍ കുട്ടനാട്ടില്‍ കീടനാശിനികളുടെ ഉപയോഗം വ്യാപകമായി നടക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും സ്ഥലത്ത് വ്യാജകീടനാശിനികള്‍ സുലഭമാണെന്നും രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല പറഞ്ഞു.സംഭവത്തില്‍ സമഗ്ര അന്വേഷണം വേണമെന്നും രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല പറഞ്ഞു.
മരിച്ച സനല്‍കുമാറിന്‍റെ വീട്ടിലാണ് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് ആദ്യമെത്തിയത്.
കൃഷിമന്ത്രിയുമായി ഫോണില്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു, മന്ത്രി 24ന് പെരിങ്ങര സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കുമെന്ന് രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല പറഞ്ഞു.മരിച്ച സനലിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിന് വീട് വയ്ക്കാൻ ഗാന്ധി ഗ്രാം പദ്ധതി വഴി 4 ലക്ഷം രൂപ നൽകുമെന്ന് ചെന്നിത്തല വ്യക്തമാക്കി . സനലിന്റെ കുട്ടികളുടെ പഠനം സർക്കാർ ഏറ്റെടുക്കണമെന്നും പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു .
