മനുഷ്യനെ ചന്ദ്രനിലേക്കും ചൊവ്വയിലേക്കും എത്തിക്കാനുള്ള നാസയുടെ ദൗത്യത്തിനുള്ള റോക്കറ്റുകളുടെ പരീക്ഷണങ്ങള്‍ ആരംഭിച്ചു
പരീക്ഷണങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടെ പേടകത്തിന്റെ 200 അടിയോളം വലുപ്പമുള്ള പടുകൂറ്റന്‍ ഇന്ധന ടാങ്കിന്റെ ചിത്രങ്ങളും പുറത്തുവന്നു. നാല് RS25 റോക്കറ്റ് എൻജിനുകള്‍ക്കാവശ്യമായ ദ്രവഹൈഡ്രജന്‍ ഇന്ധനമാണ് ഈ ടാങ്കില്‍ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക.ഡോണള്‍ഡ് ട്രംപ് പ്രസിഡന്റായതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് അമേരിക്കയുടെ മനുഷ്യനെ വീണ്ടും ചന്ദ്രനിലെത്തിക്കാനുള്ള പദ്ധതിക്ക് വേഗം ലഭിച്ചത്. മനുഷ്യ ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ ഇന്നേവരെ നിര്‍മിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതില്‍ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും കരുത്തുള്ള എസ്എല്‍എസ് റോക്കറ്റാണ് നാസയുടെ ശക്തി. സാറ്റേണ്‍ വി റോക്കറ്റിനേക്കാള്‍ 15 ശതമാനം അധികം വേഗം കൈവരിക്കാന്‍ നാസയുടെ ഈ പുതിയ റോക്കറ്റിനാകും. അമേരിക്കന്‍ ബഹിരാകാശ ഏജന്‍സിയുടെ അലബാമയിലെ മാര്‍ഷല്‍ സ്‌പേസ് ഫ്‌ളൈറ്റ് സെന്ററില്‍ വെച്ചാണ് ബഹിരാകാശ പേടകത്തിന്റെ പരീക്ഷണങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കുന്നത്.
200 അടിയിലേറെ ഉയരമുള്ള റോക്കറ്റിന്റെ പ്രധാന ഇന്ധന ടാങ്കിന് 27.6 അടി വ്യാസവുമുണ്ട്.
5.37 ലക്ഷം ഗ്യാലന്‍ ദ്രവീകൃത ഹൈഡ്രജന്‍ വഹിക്കാനുള്ള ശേഷിയുണ്ട് ഇതിന്. മൈനസ് 423 ഫാരന്‍ഹീറ്റ് എന്ന അതിശീതീകരിച്ച അവസ്ഥയിലായിരിക്കും ടാങ്കില്‍ ദ്രവീകൃത ഹൈഡ്രജന്‍ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക.ദൗത്യത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായുള്ള ആദ്യ റോക്കറ്റിന് ബ്ലോക്ക് 1 എന്നാണ് പേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. 26 മെട്രിക് ടണ്‍ വരെ ഭാരം ചന്ദ്രന് അപ്പുറമെത്തിക്കാന്‍ ഇവക്ക് ശേഷിയുണ്ട്. ബ്ലോക്ക് 2 എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന രണ്ടാം റോക്കറ്റിന് 11.9 ദശലക്ഷം എല്‍ബിഎസ് വരെ വേഗത്തില്‍ കുതിക്കാനാകും. ഇവയുടെ കരുത്തിലായിരിക്കും ചന്ദ്രനിലേക്കും ചൊവ്വയിലേക്കും അടക്കം ആവശ്യമായ സാധനങ്ങള്‍ ഭൂമിയില്‍ നിന്നും എത്തിക്കുക.
45 ടണ്‍ ഭാരം വരെ വഹിച്ച് ബഹിരാകാശത്ത് സഞ്ചരിക്കാന് ഇവക്ക് കഴിവുണ്ട്.
റോക്കറ്റ് വിക്ഷേപണത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്നുണ്ടാകുന്ന ഉയര്‍ന്ന താപനിലയെ തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് വെള്ളം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ വിഡിയോയും പുറത്തുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിമിഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ളില്‍ പതിനായിരക്കണക്കിന് ലിറ്റര്‍ വെള്ളമാണ് താപനില ക്രമീകരിക്കാനായി തുറന്നുവിടുന്നത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒക്ടോബര്‍ 15ന് കെന്നഡി സ്‌പേസ് സെന്ററിലെ വിക്ഷേപണത്തറയില്‍ വെള്ളം തുറന്നുവിടുന്നതിന്റെ.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the Mars mission as a major achievement. 'History has been created today. We have achieved the near impossible. I congratulate all ISRO scientists and all my fellow Indians on this historic achievement,' he said on the day Mangalyaan entered the Mars orbit. 'The odds were stacked against us. Of the 51 missions attempted across the world so far, a mere 21 had succeeded. But we have prevailed.'

അടുത്തിടെ തകര്‍ന്ന് വീണ് യൂറോപ്യന്‍ ചൊവ്വ ദൗത്യമായ ഷിയാ പരേലി തകര്‍ന്നു വീണതിന്റെ ചിത്രങ്ങളും ഇവയില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടും. ചൊവ്വയുടെ ഉപരിതലത്തിന്റെ ഘടനയും പ്രത്യേകതകളും വിശദമാക്കുന്ന 2054 ചിത്രങ്ങളാണ് നാസ പുറത്ത് വിട്ടത്.

മനുഷ്യനെ ചൊവ്വാഗ്രഹത്തിലെത്തിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള നാസയുടെ പദ്ധതിയെ അടച്ചാക്ഷേപിച്ച് മുന്‍ നാസ ബഹിരാകാശ ഗവേഷകന്‍ ബില്‍ ആന്‍ഡേഴ്‌സ്.
നാസയുടെ അപ്പോളോ 8 പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ചന്ദ്രനു ചുറ്റിസഞ്ചരിച്ച ബഹിരാകാശ യാത്രികനാണ് ആന്‍ഡേഴ്‌സ്. ചൊവ്വാഗ്രഹത്തിലേക്ക് മനുഷ്യനെ അയക്കാനുള്ള പദ്ധതി വിഡ്ഢിത്തവും പരിഹാസ്യവുമാണെന്ന് ആന്‍ഡേഴ്‌സ് കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി. ബിബിസി റേഡിയോ 5 ലൈവില്‍ സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.
അടുത്ത പത്ത് വര്‍ഷത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ ചൊവ്വയിലേക്ക് മനുഷ്യനെ അയച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള പദ്ധതികള്‍ ആരംഭിക്കാനാണ് നാസയുടെ പദ്ധതി.
നിലവില്‍ രണ്ട് റോബോട്ടിക്ക് പര്യവേക്ഷണ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ ചൊവ്വയിലുണ്ട്.
മനുഷ്യനെ അയച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള പദ്ധകള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി വരുന്ന ചിലവാണ് ആന്‍ഡേഴ്‌സിന്റെ എതിര്‍പ്പിന് കാരണം. ഇപ്പോള്‍ നടന്നുവരുന്ന യന്ത്ര നിയന്ത്രിത സംവിധാനങ്ങള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചുള്ള പര്യവേക്ഷണ പദ്ധതികളെ അദ്ദേഹം അനുകൂലിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. അതിന് താരതമ്യേന ചിലവ് കുറവാണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം പറയുന്നു. നമ്മളെ ചൊവ്വയിലേക്ക് ആകര്‍ഷിക്കുന്നത് എന്താണ്? അതിന്റെ അനിവാര്യതയെന്താണ്? ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇതില്‍ താല്‍പര്യമുണ്ടെന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നില്ല. ആന്‍ഡേഴ്‌സ് പറഞ്ഞു.
1968 ല്‍ അമേരിക്കയുടെ അപ്പോളോ 8 പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായുള്ള ലൂണാര്‍ മോഡ്യൂള്‍ പൈലറ്റ് ആയിരുന്നു 85 കാരനായ ബില്‍ ആന്‍ഡേഴ്‌സ്. ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് പത്ത് തവണയാണ് ലൂണാര്‍ മോഡ്യൂള്‍ ചന്ദ്രനെ വലംവെച്ചത്.
അക്കാലത്ത് ഭൂമിയില്‍ നിന്നും ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ ദൂരം സഞ്ചരിച്ച പദ്ധതിയായിരുന്നു അത്.
പിന്നീട് ഏഴ് മാസങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം മനുഷ്യനെ ചന്ദ്രനിലിറക്കിയ അപ്പോളോ 11 പദ്ധതിയ്ക്ക് വഴിപാകിയതും അപ്പോളോ 8 പദ്ധ

A chorus of cheers and applause echoed through the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) on Sunday night after the most high-tech interplanetary rover ever built sent a signal to Earth. It had survived a harrowing plunge through the thin Mars atmosphere.
“Touchdown confirmed,” said engineer Allen Chen. “We're safe on Mars.”
Minutes after touchdown, Curiosity beamed back the first black-and-white pictures from inside the crater showing its wheel and its shadow, cast by the afternoon sun.
It was NASA's seventh landing on Earth's neighbour; many other attempts by the U.S. and other countries to zip past, circle or set down on Mars have gone awry.
The arrival was an engineering tour de force, debuting never-before-tried acrobatics packed into “seven minutes of terror” as Curiosity sliced through the Martian atmosphere at 13,000 mph.
In a Hollywood-style finish, cables delicately lowered the rover to the ground at a snail-paced 2 mph. A video camera was set to capture the most dramatic moments — which would give earthlings their first glimpse of a touchdown on another world.

കുലുക്കം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത് നേട്ടമാണെന്നാണ് ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞർ പറയുന്നത്.
ചൊവ്വയുടെ ഉപരിതലത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് പഠിക്കാന്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ സഹാകരമാകുമെന്നുമാണ് ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞരുടെ അഭിപ്രായം. മാര്‍ച്ച് 14, ഏപ്രില്‍ 10, 11 തീയതികളിലും വളരെ തീവ്രത കുറഞ്ഞ കുലുക്കങ്ങള്‍ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നെങ്കിലും ശാസ്ത്രസംഘം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. എന്നാല്‍, കുലുക്കമാണോ അതോ കാറ്റ് ശക്തിയില്‍ വീശിയതാണോ എന്നും പരിശോധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
2024ല്‍ ചൊവ്വയിലേക്ക് മനുഷ്യരെ അയക്കാനുള്ള മിഷന്‍ ആരംഭിക്കും.

About ASHI, Haryana:
Association for Social Health in India (ASHI) is a Voluntary and Social Organization aiming at challenging those conditions that lead to exploitation of women and children for anti-social purposes by providing shelter for Destitute & Orphan children and arranging for their education, vocational training and rehabilitation are one of the Association’s main activities. The Governor of Haryana, their Chief Patron, visits the Home once a year to encourage and bless the children.
