കർണാടകയിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം സംഭവിച്ചതു ജനാധിപത്യത്തിന്റെ വിജയമാണെന്ന് നടൻ രജനീകാന്ത്. സർക്കാർ രൂപീകരിക്കാൻ ബിജെപി കൂടുതൽ സമയം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടതും ഗവർണർ 15 ദിവസം നൽകിയതും ജനാധിപത്യത്തെ കളിയാക്കുന്നതിനു തുല്യമായിരുന്നു. ജനാധിപത്യത്തെ സംരക്ഷിച്ച വിധി പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചതിനു സുപ്രീംകോടതിയോടു നന്ദിയുണ്ടെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ബിജെപിയുമായി തമിഴ്നാട്ടിൽ സഖ്യമുണ്ടാക്കുമെന്ന അഭ്യൂഹങ്ങൾ പരക്കുന്നതിനിടെയായിരുന്നു പാർട്ടിയെയും അവരുടെ നീക്കത്തെയും തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ട് രജനീകാന്ത് രംഗത്തെത്തിയത്.ലോക്സഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു പ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിനു ശേഷം മാത്രമേ മത്സരിക്കുന്നതു സംബന്ധിച്ച തീരുമാനമെടുക്കുകയുള്ളൂ.പാർട്ടിക്ക് ഇതുവരെ രൂപം നൽകിയിട്ടില്ല. പക്ഷേ എന്തു സംഭവിച്ചാലും നേരിടാൻ തയാറാണ്. കമൽഹാസന്റെ മുന്നണിയുമായി സഹകരിക്കണോയെന്നു തീരുമാനിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.ഏതെങ്കിലും മുന്നണിയുമായി സഖ്യം രൂപീകരിക്കണോ എന്ന കാര്യത്തിൽ അഭിപ്രായം പറയാറായിട്ടില്ലെന്നും രജനീകാന്ത് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.കർണാടകയിൽ പുതിയ സർക്കാർ കാവേരി തർക്കത്തിൽ പരിഹാരമുണ്ടാക്കണം എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു
