जो वीतरागी अथार्त जिनका राग-द्वेष बीत गया, सर्वज्ञ अथार्त सभी पदार्थो को जानने वाले और हितोपदेशी अथार्त सभी जीवों के हित का उपदेश देते हैं, वे सच्चे देव कहलाते है। जिनमें ये तीन गुण नहीं पायें जाते वे सच्चे देव नहीं।

The Veetragi meaning those who have lost their rage, omniscient means to know all things and preach to the interests of benevolent, that is, they are called true gods. In which these three qualities are not found, they are not true gods.
