लाहुल-स्पीति। जनजातीय क्षेत्र लाहुल घाटी में मौसम खुलते ही पहाड़ों से हिमस्खलन का लुढ़कना जारी हो गया है। राशेल लिंगर गांव के बीच वाम तट की पहाड़ी से लगभग एक किलोमीटर के दायरे में विशालकाय एवलांच एक साथ गिराए एवलांच से उठी बवंडर लगभग 10 मिनट तक हवा में उठता रहा, जिसे आसपास बसे गांव के लोगों ने कैमरे में भी कैद किया। उस क्षेत्र में जगह वीरान व वाम तट होने के चलते किसी तरह से नुकसान नहीं हुआ है। जिला प्रशासन ने घाटी के लोगों को आगाह किया है कि बर्फबारी के तुरंत बाद मौसम खुलते ही लोग फिलहाल दूरदराज क्षेत्र की ओर रुख ना करें। ताजा बर्फबारी से हिमस्खलन के खतरे को नजरअंदाज नहीं किया जा सकता है। राशेल गांव के इंद्रजीत भानू ने बताया कि राशेल. लिंगर गांव के बीच एवलांच तकरीबन साढ़े बारह बजे गिरा बवंडर लगभग 10 मिनट तक मंडराता गया। जिसे भानू ने अपने मोबाइल कैमरे में भी कैद किया है। डीसी लाहुल.स्पीति नीरज कुमार ने घाटी के लोगों से अपील की है कि वह फिलहाल स्थिति सामान्य होने तक इधर उधर ना जाए।

Kenlong (Himachal Pradesh): Rare Himalayan musk deer have been seen in the Lahul Valley of the tribal district Lahaul-Spiti. Photographs and video of Kasturi deer have been captured by photographer Indra Jeet Bhanu of Rachel village in his camera. According to Indrajit Bhanu, Himalayan musk deer have been seen in many parts of Lahul, especially on the left bank of Chandrabhaga. Earlier in March 2018, musk deer were seen in the Mayad valley of Lahul. The Himalayan sero was seen in Hurlig village of Spiti the day before and now the wildlife department is also very excited with the sighting of musk deer in Lahul. Musk deer are among the rare species endangered. It is found in the Himalayan region at an altitude of more than 2500 meters. These rare creatures are found in India, Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan and some areas of Afghanistan. In India, this wildlife is found in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Its body color varies, the lower part of the abdomen and waist is almost white and the rest of the body is brown brown. Its ears are long and rounded. Its hearing power is very fast. It weighs from 7 to 17 kg.

Association for Social Health in India (ASHI) is a Voluntary and Social Organization aiming at challenging those conditions that lead to exploitation of women and children for anti-social purposes by providing shelter for Destitute & Orphan children and arranging for their education, vocational training and rehabilitation are one of the Association’s main activities. The Governor of Haryana, their Chief Patron, visits the Home once a year to encourage and bless the children.
