Operators of Asia's largest truck union are now starting to mobilize again. BDTS head Jeet Ram Gautam has asked all the operators to cooperate in this critical situation. The BDTS had closed the ACC Cement Factory last evening for a few hours. With the intervention of the police, the gates of the factory were opened again. There is a lot of anger among truck operators over the nominal demand being made by ACC. They allege that ACC is indirectly handing over the work of cement transportation to Ambuja bypassing BDTS. With this step, the truck operators of entire Himachal will become unemployed. Due to this, the work of spreading hunger is being done. He has warned that this will not be tolerated.
