    മുമ്പ് റോഡരികിൽ മീൻ പെട്ടിയുമായി വന്ന ഹനാൻ നാലു മാസത്തെ ഇടവേളയ്ക്കു ശേഷം എത്തിയത്, തന്റെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം മീൻ വിൽക്കാനായി രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയ വണ്ടിയുമായായിരുന്നു. എയ്‌സ് വണ്ടിയുടെ പിറകിൽ പെട്ടി പോലെ പണിതതാണ് വാഹനം. ഇത് തുറക്കുമ്പോൾ മീൻ വയ്ക്കാനുള്ള തട്ടടക്കം പുറത്തുവരും. ഇതിൽ വച്ചായിരുന്നു മീൻ കച്ചവടം. സ്പോൺസർഷിപ്പിൽ ലഭിച്ച മീൻ തൂക്കാനുള്ള അത്യാധുനിക ത്രാസ് അടക്കം വാഹനത്തിലുണ്ട്. മീൻ മുറിച്ച് വൃത്തിയാക്കി പാക്ക് ചെയ്താണ് ഹനാൻ നൽകുന്നത്.
    വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാവിലെ പത്തിനു മുന്നേ ഹനാനും വണ്ടിയും തമ്മനം ജങ്ഷനിലെത്തി.
    മാസങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം ഹനാൻ വീണ്ടും മീൻ വിൽക്കുന്നത് കാണാൻ നാട്ടുകാരും മാധ്യമങ്ങളും എത്തിയിരുന്നു. ഒടുവിൽ നടൻ സലീംകുമാറെത്തി വാഹനത്തിന്റെ പിന്നിൽ കെട്ടിയിരുന്ന റിബ്ബൺ മുറിച്ച് ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിച്ചു. സലീംകുമാറിനായി ഹനാൻ വാഹനത്തിൽ തന്നെ ലൈവായി പാചകം ചെയ്തെടുത്ത മീൻ വറുത്തത് നൽകിയാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സ്വീകരിച്ചത്. ഹനാന്റെ കൈയിൽനിന്ന്‌ മീൻ വാങ്ങിയാണ് സലീംകുമാർ മടങ്ങിയത്. 3,500 രൂപയുടെ കച്ചവടമാണ് വ്യാഴാഴ്ച നടന്നത്.
    പഠനത്തിനും ജീവിത ചെലവുകൾക്കുമായി മീൻ വില്പന നടത്തിയ കോളേജ് വിദ്യാർഥിനിയുടെ വാർത്തകൾ ശ്രദ്ധയാകർഷിച്ച ഹനാനെതിരേ വ്യാപക കുപ്രചാരണങ്ങളാണ് വന്നത്.
    ചില ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുണ്ടായ പ്രതിഷേധത്തെ തുടർന്ന് പോലീസ് മീൻവില്പന നടത്താൻ അനുവദിക്കാതെയായതോടുകൂടിയാണ് ഹനാൻ മീൻ വില്പന താത്‌കാലികമായി അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചത്. ശേഷം വാഹനാപകടത്തിൽ പെട്ട് നട്ടെല്ലിന് പരിക്കേറ്റതോടെ മീൻവില്പന തുടങ്ങാൻ പിന്നെയും വൈകി. തമ്മനത്ത് തന്നെ ഒരു കട വാടകയ്ക്കെടുത്തുവെങ്കിലും ഇത് ചില കാരണങ്ങളാൽ മുടങ്ങി. ഇതോടെയാണ് ഹനാൻ വാഹനം വാങ്ങാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. സ്വന്തമായി സ്ഥലമില്ലാത്തതിനാൽ തന്നെ ലോൺ ലഭിച്ചില്ല. ഒടുവിൽ ഒരു സുഹൃത്തിന്റെ സഹായത്താൽ ലോൺ ലഭിക്കുകയും ഈ പണമുപയോഗിച്ച് എയ്‌സ് വാഹനം വാങ്ങി മീൻ വിൽക്കാനുള്ള മാറ്റങ്ങൾ വരുത്തി വാഹനം പുറത്തിറക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
    തമ്മനത്ത് മീൻ വിൽക്കാനുള്ള കൊച്ചി നഗരസഭയുടെ അനുമതിയോടെയാണ് ഹനാൻ വീണ്ടും രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
