A three judge panel for the Commission on Professional Competence on Tuesday ruled that Stacie Halas, 32, was forbidden from teaching in the Oxnard School District again, local station KTLA reported.
Halas appeared in porn films under the name Tiffany Six during an eight-month period between 2005 and 2006, three years before she started teaching science at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School.
She was fired in April after school officials discovered some of the skin flicks online.
Her lawyer argued that she only did it for the money and that she didn't break any laws.
The school district claimed the former porn princess had no business teaching children.
“This case is about whether the students of the Oxnard School District are required to incorporate into their learning environment the choice Ms. Halas made to be a porn star,” Nitasha Sawhney, one of two lawyers representing the school .

    Stacie Halas, the former junior high school science teacher who was dismissed from her position at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School after it was revealed she was once a porn star, is fighting to get her job back, NBC Los Angeles reports.

    At a hearing Thursday, Halas made an emotional plea, saying that her first porn shoot made her feel 'dirty' and 'shameful.' She let herself down, she said, but felt trapped because she needed cash as her parents and sisters couldn't even afford groceries.

    Her lawyer, Richard Schwab argued in court that Halas, 32, was done with the X-rated business when she started her job as a seventh- and eighth-grade teacher at the Oxnard, Calif. school in 2009. Furthermore, while porn might not be a respected industry, it is still legal, and Halas only resorted to the profession because she needed the money.

    'I think most of us have something in our backgrounds,' Schwab told NBC Los Angeles after the hearing. 'And I ask anybody here to cast the first stone.'

    Oxnard school officials are unsympathetic. They say that they never knew she had appeared in pornographic videos until April, and that lying to her boss was grounds for dismissal, according to district spokesman Tom DeLapp. He said the fact that Halas listed being a lifeguard and working at Subway as prior employment but omitted her porn star past “is very telling.”

    Halas, 32, was continually deceitful about her nine-month career in porn before she went to work at the school, the judges said.

    Schwab said Halas 'was being honest and forthright, but was embarrassed and humiliated by her past experience in the adult industry.'

    Halas appealed her firing before the Commission on Professional Competence.

    On Tuesday, her attorney Richard Schwab said a three-judge panel unanimously decided the 32-year old was unfit for the classroom.

    During a hearing last fall, Schwab had argued that Halas did not star in pornographic movies while teaching in any district.

    He said Halas acted in them during an eight-month period from 2005 to 2006 because of financial duress.

    Nitasha Sawhney, one of two lawyers representing the school district, said Halas repeatedly lied to school administrators about her acting career at the same time students were viewing the explicit videos.

    'Maybe it's not a crime as far as the penal code is concerned, but we feel it's a crime as far as moral turpitude is concerned,' said Jeff Chancer, superintendent of the Oxnard school district.
    School administrators sent a note to parents Wednesday noting that teachers were discouraging students from searching for and visiting the inappropriate sites.
    'We ask that you be particularly vigilant over the next few days with respect to the Internet content being accessed by your child on his or her telephone or other Internet-ready device,' the letter read.
