Votes are to be cast on 12 for the assembly elections in Himachal. Preparations are complete to ensure the voting by the government. Polling parties left for the polling stations with EVM machines for the Vidhan Sabha elections in Kaza of Lahaul Spiti, a remote district of the state. 29 polling booths were sent to 29 polling stations. While 8 polling parties will remain in reserve. Common material was also distributed to all the polling parties. On November 11, polling booths will be set up for all the polling parties. This time there are total 8247 voters in Spiti block out of which 4007 are male voters and 4239 are female voters. Maximum voter is 811 in Kaza polling station. While Tashigang, the world's highest polling station, has the lowest voter turnout of 52. At the same time, a women's polling station was built in Qilig, where women employees have been appointed in the entire polling party.

Kenlong (Himachal Pradesh): Rare Himalayan musk deer have been seen in the Lahul Valley of the tribal district Lahaul-Spiti. Photographs and video of Kasturi deer have been captured by photographer Indra Jeet Bhanu of Rachel village in his camera. According to Indrajit Bhanu, Himalayan musk deer have been seen in many parts of Lahul, especially on the left bank of Chandrabhaga. Earlier in March 2018, musk deer were seen in the Mayad valley of Lahul. The Himalayan sero was seen in Hurlig village of Spiti the day before and now the wildlife department is also very excited with the sighting of musk deer in Lahul. Musk deer are among the rare species endangered. It is found in the Himalayan region at an altitude of more than 2500 meters. These rare creatures are found in India, Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan and some areas of Afghanistan. In India, this wildlife is found in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Its body color varies, the lower part of the abdomen and waist is almost white and the rest of the body is brown brown. Its ears are long and rounded. Its hearing power is very fast. It weighs from 7 to 17 kg.
